In exercise of the powers conferred by sub–section (1) of Section 124, read in conjunction with sub–Section (1) of Section 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Board of Trustees of New Mangalore Port Trust hereby approves the New Mangalore Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority & Promotion) Amendment Regulation, 2017 as set out in the Schedule, annexed to this Notification.
The said Regulation shall come into force on the day of publication of this Notification as per sub-Section (1)(a) of Section 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963(38 of 1963) in the Official Gazette of the State.
