ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು :

1. ಅನುಸೂಚಿತ ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಉಪ ಯೋಜನೆ/ಬುಡಕಟ್ಟು ಉಪ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯನೀತಿ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡುವುದು.

2. ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳು ರೂಪಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಕೀಮ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುವುದು. 3. ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಅನುಸೂಚಿತ ಜಾತಿಗಳ ಉಪ ಯೋಜನೆ/ಬುಡಕಟ್ಟು ಉಪ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಮೋದಿಸುವುದು. 4. ಗೊತ್ತುಪಡಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಇತರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕಾನೂನು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ (ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವಾ ಷರತ್ತುಗಳು) ನಿಯಮಗಳು, 1977ರ ನಿಯಮ 5(6) ರನ್ವಯ ಪ್ರದತ್ತವಾದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಐ.ಎಸ್. ಪ್ರಮೋದ್ ಚಂದ್ರ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅಭಿಯೋಜಕರು-II, ಅಡ್ವೋಕೇಟ್ ಜನರಲ್ ಕಛೇರಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಇವರನ್ನು ಈ ತಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಹುದ್ದೆಯ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯದಿಂದ ವಿಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಾಗೂ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳ ನೊಟೀಸಿನ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳ ರೀಟೇನರ್ ಮಂಜೂರು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
