In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section 9(5) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the Senior Civil Judges mentioned in Column No.2 of the above table are hereby authorised to exercise the powers of Sessions Judge for the disposal of any urgent application which is, or may be, made or pending before the District Judge of the District Courts mentioned in Column No.3 of the above table, during the period of Summer Vacation of 2014.

Wherever the Senior Civil Judges mentioned in column No.2 are designated as Vacation Judges, the District Judges are directed to issue a Notification as required under Sub-Section (3) of Section 10 of the Criminal Procedure Code making provisions for the disposal of any urgent application appointing such officers.
