The candidates who have secured 56 ( Fifty Six ) marks and above are included in the Main List of this Short List . The cut-off marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of the Supplementary Lists .
The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes included in the Short List , who are required to produce Non -Creamy Layer Certificates as per G. O. (P) No. 36/2000 /SC /ST/DD dated 27-5-2000, shall produce the same at the time of interview . Such Candidates in the Main List who fail to produce the required Non - Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of Community reservation and will be considered as Open Competition in the Candidates, As regards such candidates Supplementary List of other Backward Classes , their Register Numbers will be deleted from the Short List without further notice , if they fail to produce the Non-Greamy Layer Certificate.
The date, time and place of interview will be intimated to the candidates in due course .
According to the existing procedure , revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed . But answer scripts will be re-checked if the prescribed fee of Rs . 10 (Rupees ten only) is remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State by chalan under the Head of Account "0051 PSC 105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee". The original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee should be produced with the application for rechecking. Candidates whose register numbers are included in the Short List will be allowed a period of one month's time to apply for re - checking with effect from the date ofpublication of either the Short List or the Ranked List . The candidates can avail only one chance either after the publication of the Short List or after the publication of Ranked List . But candidates whose register numbers are not included in the short list should submit the application for re -checking within one month from the date of publication of the Short List. They are not entitled to a chance for re-checking after the publication of the Ranked List .
Valid applications for re- checking addressed to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Comunission District Office , Malappuram- 576 505 should reach this office within 30 days from the date on which this notification is officially released by the Kerala Public Service Commission . Appli- cation for re -checking received after the prescribed time limit will not be entertained .
The fee once remitted will not be refunded. In the case of candidates who send applications for re-checking within the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above, the marks awarded by the Examiner for the questions will be re - checked and if it is found that the Examiner has answers to award marks aquestion or a sub division of aquestion, the paper will be got rech cked and discrepancies rectified. The result of the rechecking willbe intimated to the candidates from this office .

The following are the Register Numbers of candidates who are found provisionally eligible to be called for interview for selection to the post ofHigh School Assistant (Arabic ) on Rs . 1600-7125 in the Education Departinent ( Category No. 84/2004) in Kannur District on the asis of the Written Test held on 5-3-2005 . The list is prepared keeping in view of the requirements of Rules of Reservation under Rules 14 to 17 of the Part II -General Rules IKS & SSR 1958. The Register Numbers are arranged in their sequeuce and the arrangements doos not in any way indicate the respective Rank on the basis of the marks secured in the Written Test.
Alphabet 'C ' shall be prefixed to all numbers to indicate Kannur District.

The candidates who have secured 81 ( eighty one) marks and above are included in the Main List of this Short List . The cut off marks have heen lowered to the extent necessary in respect of the candidates under the Supplementary Lists .

Application for re-checking received from candidates whose answer scripts have beeninvalidated will not be considered . Candidates whose register numbers or are not included in the short list should submit the applications for re- checking within one month from the date of publication of the Short List. They are not entitled to a chance for re- checking after the publication of the Ranked List. But candidates whose register numbers are included in the Short List may apply for re-checking within one month from the date of pablication of either the Short List or the Ranked List (anyone chance) .
Nil Valid applications for rechecking addressed to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commi- ssion, District Office , Civil Lines 1st Floor , Kannur-2 should reach this office within 30 days from the date on which this notification is officially released by the Kerala Public Service Commission. Applications for re- checking received after the prescribed time limit or not in the prescribed form will not be entertained .
The fee once remitted will not be refunded.
Inthe case of candidates who send applications for re-checking in the prescribed form within the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above , the marks awarded will be re-checked and the result of the rechecking willbe intimated to the candidates from this office.
