Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of the following stores so as to reach the Police Headquarters, Thiruvananthapuram , Kerala on or before 12 Noon on 17-7-2007.

The tenders should be superscribed with tender number and name of the Store articles and addressed to the Director General of Police, Kerala , Thiruvananthapuram-10 . Late tenders will not he accepted. The tenders will be opened at the time mentioned above, in the presence of the tenderers or their authorised representatives (with proof of Identity) who may be present at that time.

Imending tenderers may on application to the Director General of Police and obtain requisite tender forms on which the tenders should be submitted . Intending tenderers may also include for installation of technical items , training of officers and on-site support such as at least 2 years of warranty A.M.C.A.T.S. for a period of 3 years on a turn key basis in the tenders . Application for tender forms shouldbe accompanied by a cash remittance price fixed for a form which is not refundable . The sale of tender form will be closed at 4 p . m . on 16-7-2007 . Cheques, drafts , postage stamps etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms nor will the forms be sent by V.P.P. Earnest Money Deposit @ 1 % of quoted value should be furnished in favour of Additional Assistant Inspector General of Police, Police Headquarters , Thiruvananthapuram- 10. The firmswhich are exempted from furnishing EMD should produce copy of relevant documents for verification , Specifications and list of items of each tender should be obtained from PHQ with the tender forms . The firms , should also furnish the detailed specifications , make , technical support network in Kerala ete. of the equipments alongwith the tenders . The tenders without any detailed specifications of quoted items , Brochures , make etc , willbe rejected forthwith . The tenders without separate envelope and not superscribing the tender number etc , will be rejected. They should also mention the details of A.M.C.A.T.S. and warranty etc. alongwith the tender documents.

JO Specifications of the above items and more details can be obtained from Police Headquarters, Thiruvananthapuram during working hours of Police Headquarters . Samples if necessary will have to he submitted free of cost whenever necessary . The firms should be ready to show live demonstration of technical equipments at their own cost and risk. Police Department is not responsible to return the samples after verification . The rates quoted should be valid and firm till 31-12-2007.
