S. R. O. No. 607/ 2007.-WHEREAS , the place specified in the Schedule below is of vital importance to the country ;
AND WHEREAS , information with respect thereto , or the destruction or obstruction thereof, or interference therewith, would be useful to an enemy;
NOW, THEREFORE , in exercise of the powers conferredby sub - clause (d) of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act , 1923 ( Central Act 19 of 1923 ) , read with Notification S. O. No. 1285 , dated the 4th May, 1963 of the Ministry of Home Affairs , Government of India, the Government of Kerala hereby declare the place specified in the Schedule below to be a "Prohibited Place" for the purpose of the said Act and a copy of this Notification , both in English and in Malayalam languages ,be affixed to the said place. direct that

is considered necessary that the place mentioned in the Schedule to the above Notification , namely the 110 KV Sub Station of the Kerala State Electricity Board at Kayamkulam in Alappuzha District should be declared as a " Prohibited Place" under the Official Secrets Act , 1923, as the installation place is of vital importance to the country .
The notification is intended to achieve the above object 3

അതിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വിവര‌ാ അതിൻറ നശീകരണമേ തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തലോ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അതിൻമേലുളള ശത്രുവിന് പ്രയോജനകരമായിരിക്കുമെന്നതിനാലും ; ഒരു ഇപ്പോൾ, അതിനാൽ , 1923 - ലെ ഔദ്യോഗിക രഹസ്യങ്ങൾ ആക്ററ" ( 1923 -ലെ 19-ാം കേന്ദ്ര ആക്ററ് ) -ലെ 2-ാം വകുപ്പ് ( 8 )-ാം ഖണ്ഡഡം ( ഡി ) ഉപഖണ്ഡവും ഭാരത സർക്കാരിൻറ ആഭ്യന്തര കാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിൻറെ 1963 മേയ് 4-ാം തീയതിയിലെ എസ് . ഒ . 1285 -ാം നമ്പർ വിജ്ഞാപനവും കൂട്ടിവായിച്ചപ്രകാരം , നൽകപ്പെട്ട അധികാരങ്ങൾ വിനിയോഗിച്ച്, കേരള സർക്കാർ , താഴെ പട്ടികയിൽ വ്യക്‌തമായി എടുത്തുപറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ള സ്ഥലം പ്രസ്തുത ആക്ററിൻറെ ആവശ്യത്തിലേക്കായി ഒരു " നിരോധിത സ്ഥലം " ആയി ഇതിനാൽ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയും ഈ വിജ്ഞാപനത്തിൻറെ ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും മലയാളത്തിലുമുള്ള ഓരോ പകർപ്പ് പ്രസ്തുത സ്‌ഥലത്ത് പതിച്ചിരിക്കണ മെന്ന് നിർദ്ദേശം നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു .
