S.R.O. No. 661/2007 . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - clause (d) of clause ( 8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act , 1923 (Central Act 19 of 1923 ) , read with Notification S. O. No. 1285 dated the 4th May, 1963 of the Government of India , Ministry of Home Affairs , the Government of Kerala hereby makes the following amendment to the notification issued under G. O. (Ms ) No. 240/97/Home dated 23rd September , 1997 and published S.R.O. No. 363/97 in Part I of the Kerala Gazette No. 43 dated the 4th November , 1997, namely:-

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification , but is intended to indicate its general purport. )
The place mentioned in the Schedule to the above issued under G.O. ( Ms) No. 240/97/ Home dated 23rd September , 1997 published as S. R.O. No. 863/97 in Part I of the Kerala Gazette No. 43 dated the 4th November, 1997 namely the All India Radio , Devikulam in Idukki District was declared as a " Prohibited Place" under the Official Secrets Act, 1923 , as the intallation place is of vital importance to the country. The Committee on Subordinate Legislation considered this Notification and in its 10th Report recommended that the boundaries of the installation declared as Prohibited Place should be clearly demarcated and should contain description and Survey Numbers of the land. Hence the Government have decided to amend the said notification .
This notification is intended to achieve the above object .

പ്രസ്തുത ലക്ഷ്യം നിറവേറുന്നതിന് ഉദ് ദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള താണ് ஜா விஜை
