PRE-QUALIFICATION TENDER NOTICE No. D2-2679/07/SE .

Competitive tenders in two separate sealed Competitive covers for Pre- qualification and execution of the following work are invited by the Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering South Circle , Thiruvananthapuram for and on behalf of the Governor of Kerala from Firms /Registered 'A' Class Contractors of any State PWD , Irrigation Depart- ment, CPWD, Port Trusts having previous experience in Dredging or similar works and who have executed at least acast a single similar work previously amounting to Rs . 75 lakhs .

Name ofwork-Desilting Chathanad Puzha of ErnakulamDistrict from National water way to Kottuvally Bund .
Quantity of work-2,00,000 m³ .
Estimate PAC-Rs . 1,85,40,000.

Time of completion-8 months .
Those who have financial capacity and experience in executing such work should produce relevant certi- ficates from an officer not below the rank of an Executive Engineer to the effect that he/ she has satisfactorily completed at least one work of same nature costing not less than Rs . 75 lakhs previously. The intending bidders must possess the machinery requiredfor the work or must be able to arrange the machineries as mentioned below.
Machineries required for the Work:
Cutter suction Dredger/ Grab :
Dredger/Excavator ( including pipe lines and connected facilities)
Capable of dredging and removing 1500m³ of silt or sand per day and dumpingat specified dum- pingsites. and Tender Documents (pre-qualification execution of works ) can be had from the office of the undersigned from 25-7-2007 to 31-7-2007 during office hours on remittance of Rs . 4,000+ VAT towards the cost. The sale of tender schedule for the work and pre-qualification will be closed at 1 p.m. on 31-7-2007 and the sale date of tender forms will not be extended on any account . The pre- qualification tender schedule (3 copies) containing the questionnaire , duly filled upby the tenderer and tender schedule for the work should be submitted in separate sealed covers . The Pre- qualification documents shouldbe in book form with serially numbered pages having an index sheet showing the contents and page numbers . Name of work should be written on the sealed covers and the sealed covers should be send by registered post/ speed post so as to reach the office of the undersigned before 3 p . m. on 16-8-2007.
Tenders which are received after 3 p . m. on 16-8-2007 due to postal delay or due to any other reason will not be considered . This depart- ment will not be responsible for any such ആവശമായ മെഷീനറികൾ
