It is hereby notified for the information of the public that Boat Crew Test under Travancore and Cochin Canal Rules willbe conducted at the following Centres on the dates noted against each at 10 a.m.
2. Must have served as an Apprentice Syrang Traince for two years and must have completed one year probation as per the probationary certificates.

1. Mustbe able to read and write Malayalam orEnglish.
2. Must not be less than 24 years of age as on 31-8-2007-

3. Must have served as an Apprentice Master Trainee in any Motor Boat for 3 years and must have completed one year probation aa per the probationary licence.
2. Must have served as an Apprentice for one year by Deckmen /Pojemen, Lascar in any fishing boat /country boat /motor boat

General
1. Must not be less than 21 years of age as on 31-8-2007.
2. Must have served as an Apprentice Boat Driver Trainee for two years and must have completed one year probation as per probationary licence.
To prove the date of birth, the applicant must submit true copy of the relevant school certificate/extract of admission register attested by a Gazetted Officer .

Service Certificate in original issued by the Owner of the boat with current 'D' form certificate/ clearly stating the Name, Register Number and the date of commencement of training to prove the satisfactory completion of training required for each category should be submitted along with the application.
6. A Medical Certificate as to the applicant's Physical Fitness Certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner not below the Rank of Assistant Surgeon/A Class Medical Practitioner .
C. Qualification , Examination Fee etc. of the Boat SyrangTest:
3. Original Conduct Certificate issued by M. Pa./ M.L.As./Head of Local Bodies /High School Head Masters/Gazetted Officers should be submitted.
4. The Examination fee must be submitted in this office or the office of the Inspector of Boats, Alappuzha.
5. The probationary licence must be attached to the application for Master/Driver / Syrang etc. 6. Application should be made in the prescribed form No. 'G' annexed to this notification with all testimonials required.
7. Ifthe candidate's service is insufficient this testimonials do not in other fulfill the requirements of the rules, he shall or if respects be examined without payment of the additional fees.
8. Practical test for Master/ Syrang/Driver will be be produced by the candida conducted in boat having in board engine with separate syrangs cabincabin and it should the candidates themselves to their own cost at the time of the test . Practical test for Lascars will be conducted the examination should bring in any backwaters near centres and the candidates suitable swimming dress .

The Chief Inspector of Boats, 5th Floor, Civil Station , Kakkanadu and should office on or before 5 p . m. on 1-9-2007. reach this Eligible candidates will be intimated from this office regarding the place, date and time of exami- nation in due course . If anybody does not receive any information from this office till 12-9-2007 such candidates should contact this office to ascertain the position of their application .
