Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of equipments for Electronic Engineering Department of Maharaja's Technological Institute, Thrissur.
The tenders should be superscribed as "Tender No. 4/2007-08, due on 5-10-2007, 3 p. m. and addressed to "The Principal, Maharaja's Technological Institute, Thrissur-20". Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened at 11 a. m. on 6-10-2007 in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorized agents, who may be present at that time.
Tender forms can be obtained from the college office on every working day between 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. The cost of tender forms is Rupees 450 (400+VAT). Those who need tender forms by post will have to send Rs. 490 (450+40 Postal Charge) by Money Order only to The Principal Maharaja's Technological Institute, Thrissur-20. Duplicate tender forms if required will be issued at Rs. 225 (200+VAT). The cost of tender forms is not refundable. An agreement on stamp paper worth Rs. 50 will have to be executed along with the tendered amount is to be deposited as EMD vide DD along with the tender.
Sale of tenders will be closed at 2 p. m. on 5-10-2007 and last date receipt of tender is at 3 p. m. on the same day. The tender will open at 11 a. m. on 6-10-2007. Principal reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason.

Application for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 416 including VAT which is the price fixed for the same and which is non-refundable under any circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable. Sale of tender form will be closed at 12 a. m. on 3-10-2007. Drafts, Cheques, Postage Stamps etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of forms, nor will the form be sent per V. P. P. Duplicate tender forms, if required will be issued at Rs. 208 including VAT per copy.
As per tender condition the tenderer should send along with his tender an agreement executed and signed in Kerala Stamp Paper of value Rs. 50 and an EMD of 1% of the total cost of the articles tendered. Tenders without agreement and EMD will be rejected.
Those who want the tender form by post should send Rs. 446 including VAT by Money Order to the undersigned. Outside firms who desire to get Kerala Stamp Paper should send an additional amount of Rs. 60 along with the cost of tender forms.
