S. R. O. No. 789/2007 . In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section ( 1) of section 4 of the Charitable Endowments Act , 1890 (Central Act 6 of 1890 ) , the Government of Kerala hereby order that the property specified in column (2 ) of the Schedule mentioned below as enhanced by Rupees Twenty Thousand , belonging to the Endowment mentioned in column ( 1) thereof, shallbe vested with the Treasurer of Charitable Endowments, Kerala and under sub - section (2) of section 5 of the said Act , the Government of Kerala hereby make the following amendments to the Scheme settled as per notificacion issued under G. O. (Ms ) No. 57/93 /G.Edn . dated 17th April, 1993 and published as S. R. O. No. 930/93 in the Kerala Gazette No.22 dated Ist June 1993, the same having been previously published under rule 3 of the Charitable Endowments (Kerala) Rules, 1966 and appoint the date of publication of this notification to be the date on which the said modified Scheme shall come into operation, namely :-
AMENDMENT
In the Scheme of the said notification--
(i) for the existing paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:-
2. "The Corpus of the Endowment shall consist of Rs . 22,000 (Rupees Twenty two thousand only) and shall be vested with the Treasurer of the Charitable Endowments , Kerala ."

(ii) for the existing schedule the following schedule shall be substituted namely:-

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification , but is intended to indicate its general purport .)
P. O. Shri P. K. Vijayan, Padathara House , Mulavancadu Ernakulam District has instituted an Endowment with the Corpus amount of Rs . 2,000 in the name of Padathara Shri Kochol Kumaran and Smt. Kurumba memorial Endowment in the Hidayathulla Islam High School , Ponnarimangalam Mulavançadu P. O. , Kochi and the same has been vested with the Treasurer of Charitable Endowments, Kerala vide notification issued under G. O. (Ms) No. 57/93 /G . Edn . dated 17-4-1993 and published as S. R. O. No. 930/93 in the Kerala Gazette No. 22 , dated 1-6-1993 . Now the owner has requested to enchance the corpus amount to Rs . 22,000 . The Government has accepted to enhance endowment for the institution . To enhance the corpus of the endowment vested with the Treasurer of Charitable Endowment amendment is to be made in the Scheme and Schedule of the said notification . The preliminary notification regarding this has been published as Notification No.32084 /52/2004/G Edn. dated the 20th January , 2007 in the Kerala Gazette No. 13 dated the 27th February, 2007.
The notification is inten led to achieve the above object .
