S. R. O. No. 811 / 2007.- WHEREAS , the place specified in Schedule below is of vital importance to the country ; the AND WHEREAS, information with respect thereto, or the destruction or obstruction thereof, or interference therewith , would be useful to an enemy ;
NOW, THEREFORE , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - clause(d) of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 ( Central Act 19 of 1923) , read with Notification S. O. No. 1285 dated the 4th May, 1963 of the Ministry of Home Aflairs , Government of India , the Government of Kerala hereby declare the place specified in the Schedule below to be a "prohibited place" for the purpose of the said Act and direct that a copy of this notification, both in English and in Malayalam versions thereof, be affixed to the said place .

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification , but is intended to indicate its general purport. )
It is considered necessary that the place mentioned in the Schedule to the above notification , namely the 66 KV Sub Station of the Kerala State Electricity Board ar Kuttanad in Alappuzha District should be declared as a "Prohibited Place" under the Official Secrets Act, 1923, (Central Act 19 of 1923 ) , as the installation place is of vital importance to the country
This notificatio is ntended to achieve the above object.

ഇപ്പോൾ , അതിനാൽ , 1923 -ലെ ഔദ്യോഗിക രഹസ്യങ്ങൾ ആക്ററ് ( 1923 -ലെ 19 -ാം കേന്ദ്ര ആക്ററ്) -ലെ 2-ാം വകുപ്പ് (8)മാം ഖണ്ഡം (ഡി ) സർക്കാരിൻറ ആദ്യന്തര മന്ത്രാലയത്തിൻ ഉപഖണ്ഡത്തോട 1963 മേയ് 4-ാം തീയതിയിലെ എസ് . ഒ . 1285-ാം നമ്പർ വിജ്ഞാപനം കൂട്ടിവായിച്ച പ്രകാരം നൽകപ്പെട്ട അധികാരങ്ങൾ വിനിയോഗിച്ച് , കേരളാ സർക്കാർ , പ്രസ്തുത ആക്ററിൻറെ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കായി താഴെ പട്ടികയിൽ പ്രത്യേകം എടുത്തുപറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ള സ്ഥലം "നിരോധിത പ്രദേശം " ആയി ഇതിനാൽ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയും ഈ വിജ്ഞാപനത്തിൻറെ ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും മലയാളത്തിലുമുളള 60003 പകർപ്പ് പ്രസ്തുത 3 ° Beg പതിക്കുന്നതിന് നിർദ്ദേശം നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു .
