In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of Rule 8 of the Indian Forest Service (Recruitment) Rules , 1966, read with sub- regulation (1) of Regulation 9 of the Indian Forest Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1966 , the President is pleased to appoint with effect from 28th May , 2007 , the following six officers of the State Forest Service of Kerala to the Indian Forest Service on the basis of Select List for the years 2003 and 2005 and allocate themto Kerala Cadre of Indian Forest Service under sub -rule ( 1 ) of Rule 5 of the Indian Forest Service ( Cadre) Rules, 1966 .
