In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 190 (2 ) of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act 2 of 1974) , the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kollam hereby empowers the Honorary Magistrate mentioned in Column No. ( 1 ) of the schedule given below to take cognizanse under Sub - section ( 1 ) of section 190 of the said Code of such offences mentioned in Column No. ( 2 ) of the schedule to enquire into or try within the Sessions Division of Kollam for a further period of one year from 1-8-2007,
