According to the existing procedure , re - valuation ofanswer scripts is not allowed. But answer scripts willbe re - checked only after the publication Ranked List ifthe prescribed fee of Rs . 50 (Rupes Fifty only) is remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State by chalan under the Head of Account 0051-PSC- 105 -State PSC- 99 Examination Fee". Applications for re- checking should be submitted within one month from the date of publication of the ranked list in the prescribed form available free of cost from the Enquiry Sections of the various Offices of the Commission or downloaded and printed in A4size paper from the Commission's Website: www.keralapsc.org or photocopied therefrom. The original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee shouldbe produced with the application for re-checking. Applications submitted in any other manner will not be considered . The candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes included in the Short List who are required to produce Non- Creamy Layer Certificate as per G. O. (P) No. 36/2000 / SC / ST/DD dated 27-5-2000 sball produce the same at the time of interview. Such candidates in the main list who fail to produce the required Non Creamy Layer Certificare will not be entitled to the benefit of community reservation and willbe considered as Open Competition candi- dates. As regards such candidates in the Supple- mentary Lists of Other Backward Classes , their register numbers will be deleted from the Short List without further notice , if they fail to produce the Non Creamy Layer Certificate .
The date , time and place of interview will be intimated in due course .
The following list contains the names of candidares found suitable by the Commission for selection to the post of Seaman on Rs. 2750-4625 (PR) in Port Department in Kozhikode District on the basis of the result of the Objective Type Test held on 25-8-2005 and Practical Test held on 20-2-2007 arranged in the order of merit . The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 26-4-2007 . The Ranked List will be in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue tobe in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier . Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time , if applicable against vacancies , reported to the Commission during the pendency of this list . As the advice for appointment depends ou the occurrence of vacancies , there is no guarantee ha: all candidates included in the list will secure appointment . The candidates remaining in the List a. the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the List.
The candidates who have obtained 79 (Seventynine) marks and above in the Objective Type Test have been included in the Main List of the Ranked List . Marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates included in the Supplementary Lists .
