Scaled and competitive tenders are invited for the supply of Two numbers of SOLAS specification Life Rafts" by the undersigned for and on behalf of the Governor of Kerala .
SPECIFICATION
Personal Capacity-10 Nos . each .
Type-SOLAS specification , MMD approved Inflatable life raft with Hydrostatic Release Unit and Senhouse slip.
Detailed specification can be had from the office during office hours on all working days and available along with the tender forms.
PAC-Rs . 2,60,000.
EMD-1% of quoted rate
Cost of tender form :
Original-Rs. 400+ VAT
Duplicate Rs . 200+VAT
Last date of receipt of tender-3-12-2007
The item should be guaranteed against defective manufacture for one year from the date of supply. A security deposit of 5 % shall be retained with Government for one year and the entire maintenance shall be attended by the tenderer free of cost during the above period .
Ifthe tenderer has supplied the same item earlier to any Government/ Semi Government/Public Sector undertakings , the details may be enclosed along with the tender.
The itern should be delivered within 30 days after receiving the order one at Beypore (Kozhikode) ant another at Kollam. Tenders should be superscribed "Tender for the supply of Life Rafts" with the tender No. and must be addressed to the Chief Hydrographer, Hydrographic Survey Wing, Thiruvananthapuram- 695 010. so as to reach on or 3-12-2007 before 1.00 p . m. Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders willbe opened at 3 p.m. on the same day in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time. before
The tenderer should submit an Earnest Mocney Deposit along with the tender in the form of a crossed D. D. in favour of the Chief Hydrographer, Hydrographic Survey Wing, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
Intending tenderers may obtain the requisite tender form on application to the undersigned. Application for the tender form should be aecorapanied by a cash remittance of the cost of the tender form (D.D./Cheques not acceptable ) . Sale of tender form will be closed at 12 Noon on 3-12-2007 . The tender forms are not transferable. Those who want to getthe tender form by post should also enclose a self addressed envelop bearing postage stamp of Rs . 25 (Twenty five) well in advance.
The tenderers should enciose a preliminary agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 50 and the required E.M.D. The tender without preliminary agreement and E.M.D. will be rejected outright. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all tenders received without assigning any reason thereof. All other conditions prevailing in Government Department are binding to this tender alas.
