SHORT TENDER NOTICE

Sealed competitive tenders are invited by the undersigned from the competent and reputed agencies who have experi- ence in printing similar work for the Printing Colour Poster, Picture Cards and Brochure for the Directorate of Museums and Zoos on import art paper as per specifications shown below :

4. Brochure of Zoo—5000 Nos. (Size 52.5 x 20.7 cm Paper 130 GSM Art Paper, Front and back printing multi colour)

A Copy of the sample printed old posters prints, picture cards, brochure for Zoo kept under the custody of the Planning Officer in the Office of the undersigned may be seen.

The tenderer shall arrange to make photographs/trans- parencies of both black and white and colour plates required to be printed in the picture card at their costs.

Paper 180 GSM) The last date of receipt of tenders is 3.30 p.m. on 15-12-2007. The tenders should be submitted in sealed cover superscribed "Tenders for Printing and Supply of Big and Small Posters Prints, Poster Cards and Brochure for Zoo" and addressed to the Director, Museums and Zoos, Museum Compound, Thiruvananthapuram-695 033. Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened at 4.30 p.m. on 15-12-2007 in the office of the undersigned in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorised representatives who may be present at that time.

(Size standard card Intending tenderers may, on appliction to the Director of Museums and Zoos, obtain the requisite tender forms on which tenders should submitted. The tenders should be submitted along with samples of printing paper. Application the for tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 400 + S. T. which is the price fixed for a form and which is not refundable under any circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable. Sale of tender forms will be closed at 11 a.m. on 15-12-2007. Cheques, Postage stamps etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of forms, not will the forms be sent on VPP. Duplicate tender forms if required will be issued at Rs. 200+ S. T. percopy. Tenders which lack the required documents, sufficient EMD etc. will be summarily rejected even if the rates quoted are lowest. The undersigned reserves the right to reject or postpone the tenders without assigning any reasons. The detailed tender conditions can be had from the office of the undersigned during office hours.
