S. R. O. No , 1028/2007.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub -section (3 ) of section 1 of the Kerala Anatomy Act, 1957 (Act 17 of 1957) the Government of Kerala hereby specify that sections 2 to 10 of the said Act shall come into force in the areas within the Taluk limits of Ponnani , Malappuram District with effect from the date of publication of this notification.
B. R. O. No. 1029/2007 . In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of section 2 of the Kerala Anatomy Act, 1957 (Act 17 of 1957) , the Government of Kerala hereby declare that Malabar Dental College and Research Centre , Manoor , Chekannoor Road, Mudur, ( P.O. ) Edappal , Malappuram District established by Malabar Educational & Charitable Trust , Malappuram to be a Teaching Medical Institution for the purposes of the said Act.

S. R. O. No. 1030/2007 . In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Kerala Anatomy Act , 1957 (Act 17 of 1957) , the Government of Kerala hereby authorise the Sub - Inspector of Police, Ponnani to be an officer to whom a report shall be made under section 4 or 4 A of the said Act and who shall be competent to act under the said section within his area of jurisdiction.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notifications , but is intended to indicate its general purpost.)
Malabar Educational and Charitable Trust Edappal , Malappuram District has been given permission to start a Dental College in the name and style of "Malabar Dental Colleg and Research Centre" at Edappal , Malappuram. The Government have decided to declare the said Dental College as a teaching Medical institution under clause (e) of section 2 of the Kerala Anatomy Act , 1957 and it has to be specified that section 2 to 10 of the said Act shall come into force in the area within the local limits of Ponnani Taluk . The Sub Inspector of Police, Ponnani has to be authorised as the officer to whom a report shall be made under section 4 or 4 A of the said Act .
The notifications are intended to achive the above objects .
