Syndicate of the University of Calicut has been reconstituted under Section 21 , read with Section 22 ofthe Calicut University Act 1975 (Act 16 of the University Laws Amendment Act 1990 ) and Clause (C) ofSection 17 ofthe Kerala State Higher Education Council Ordinance , 2007 (Ordinance No. 2 of 2007) read with the University Laws (Amendment ) Ordinance, 2007 ( Ordinance No. 16 of 2007) with members mentioned in the appendix to this notification witheffectfrom 29-10-2007 .
The following erratum is issued to the University Notification No Elec/2 /syn/2007 dated 31-10-2007 .
ERRATUM
Serial No. 3 under the heading " Ex - officio Members" in appendix will be corrected as "The Secretary to Government, Higher Education or an officer not below the rank of a Joint Secretary nominated by him" .
The above University Notification stands modified to this oxtent.
