AUCTION- CUM -TENDER NOTICES

A1991 Model Water Tender KL- 01 -B-7877 attached to Fire and Rescue Station , Alappuzha will be sold in auction on 22-12-2007 at 11.00 hours at the premises of Fire and Rescue Station, Alappuzha by theDivisional Officer, Fire and Rescue Services, Southern Division , Thiruvananthapuram under the following conditions:

The intending bidders shoulduld deposit an Earnest Money of Rs. 1,000 (Rupees One thousand only) before the commencement of the auction. The Earnest Money of the highest bidder will be adjusted to the bid amount and that of the others will be refunded on the spot.

Sealed tenders are also invited along with auction sale. Sealed tenders shouldbe accompanied with Demand Draft for Rs . 1,000 (Rupees One thousand only) drawn in favour of Divisional Officer , Fire and Rescue Services, Southern Division , Thiruvanantha- puram- payable at State Bank of Travancore , Vellayambalam Branch, Thiruvananthapuram and the same will be accepted up to 12.00 hours on 21-12-2007. The top of the cover containing the sealed tenders should be superscribed as "Sealed tender for the purchase of Water Tender KL-01 7877 " . Those who have submitted sealed teaders can also participate in the auction sale. But it is not compulsory to participate in the auction sale for those who have already submitted sealed tender .

The sealed tenders will be opened after the public auction and the highest bid amount of the auction/sealed tender will be accepted for the sale of the Water Tender KL- 01-7877 in normal cases. Butthe undersignedwill have full power to cancel the auction and the sealed tender even without any particular reason.

The highest bidder on whose favour the auction is knocked down or sealed tender is accepted should remit 25% of the bid amount and the balance amount plus admissible Sales Tax ( VAT) within 15 days on receipt of confirmation orders .

If the highest bidder fails to follow the above conditions , auction-cam-scaled tenders will be arranged again, and 25% of the bid amount and Earnest Money Deposit will be forfeited to Government Account from the highest bidder . Any loss as a result of such re- auction- cum - sealed tender to department , will also be realised from the defaulted bidder under Revenue Recovery Act in force.

Those who wish to participate in the auction sale/tubmit sealed tenders can inspect the vehicle at Fire and Rescue Station , Alappuzha daring office hours on my working days with th permission of the Station Officer, Fire and Reseus Station, Alappuzha .

The intending bidders should deposit an Barnest Money of Rs . 1,000 (Rupees One Thousand only) osfore the commencement of the auction . The EarnestMoneyof the highest bidder will be adjusted to the bid amount and that of the others willbe refunded on the spot.
