Candidates desiring to re- check the answer scripts relating to the Written Test held for selection to the post may apply for re - checking within 30 days from the date of publication of the Ranked List.
Notes: (1 ) Inclusion of Register Numbers in this unified short list is purely provisional subject to scrutiny and admission of applications on absolute basis Inclusion of Register Number in the Short List does not confer any right on the candidates to be called for Practical Test for subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List.

of The following list contains the names candidates found suitable on the basis of the Objective Type Test ( OMR) held on 4-3-2006 and Physical Efficiency Test conducted for selection to the post of Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion - KAP V , Kottayam) on Rs . 3050-5230 ( Pre revised) in the PoliceDepartment ( Category No : 101/2005 ) агranged in the order of merit. The Ranked List is brought into forcewith effect from 2-4-2007 . The Ranked List sha cease to be in force after one year from the date of publication of the Ranked List or after one month from the date of commencement of training in respect ofthe last batch advised from the Ranked List within a period of on: year from the date of publication of the Ranked List whichever is later . Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from timeto time, if applicable , againt vacancies , reported to the Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurance of vacancies , there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointments on the basis ofthe inclusion of their names in the list .
Accordingto the existing procedure , revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed . Answer Scripts will be re-chocke 1 to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no mistake in the totalling of marks for various answers . Re-checking of answer scripts will be done on payment of Rs . 50. (Rupees fifty only) . The fee should be remitted in any of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account 0051 -PSC- 105- State- PSC-99 Examination Foc" . The original chalan receipts together with the application for re - checking should reach the District Officer , Kerala Public Service Commission District Office , Kottayam within one month from the day on which this notificition is officially released by the Public Service Commission . The fees once remitted will not be refunded on any account. Application for rechecking after the prescribed time limit will not be entertained.

District Office , Ernakulam within 15 ( fifteen) days from the publication of this notification . The register numbers of those candidates who do not produce the required documents within the prescribed time limit and whose applications found otherwise defective will be deleted from the Short List without further notice .
The candidates who have obtained 28 (Twenty eight) marks and above have been included in the MainList ofthis Short List . The cut of marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of candidates under the Supplementary Lists.
The candidates belonging to Backward Clastes included in the Short List who are required to produce Non Creamy Layer Certificate as per G.O. (P) 36/2000 /SC ST DD dated 27-5-2000 shall produce the same at the time of interview. Those in the Main List who fail to produce the required non -Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of Community and will be considered as Open Competition Candidates . Register Numbers ofcandidates who are liable to produce Non -Creamy Layer Certificates and included in the Supplementary List of Backward Classes and who fail to produce the non -Creamy Layer Certificates their Register numbers be deleted from the Short List without further notice.
The Short list is provisional subject to the procedure to be followed for implementation of the Supreme Court Judgement dated 13-12-1999 on Creamy Layer and alteration of the Supplementary Lists to meet the requirements of reservation as provided in Rules 14 to 17 of KS & SSR .
The date, tune and place of interview willbe intimated in due course .
According to the existing procedure , revaluation ofanswer scripts is not allowed, But answer scripts will be re- checked , to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no mistake in the totalling of marks to the various answers if the prescribed fee of Rs . 10 (Rupees ten only) per paper is remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State by chalan under the Head of Account " 0051 PSC 105 State PSC-99 Examination Fee " A period of one month time each for re-checking will be allowed with effect frem the date of publication of Short List and Ranked List. Candidates can avail only one chance either after the publication of Short List or after the publica- tion of the Ranked List . But candidates whose Register Numbers are not included in the Short List should submit applications for re -checking within one month from the date of publication of Short list and they are not entitled for a chance for rechecking after publication of the Ranked List . The original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee should be produced with the application for re- checking . Such applications addressed to the District Officer , Kerala Public Service Commission District Office , Krishna Hospital Building M. G. Road, Ernakulam- Pin- 682 011 should reach this office within 30 days from the date on which this notification is officially released by the Kerala Public Service Comunistion . Application re-checking received after the prescribed time limit will not be entertained . for The fee once remitted will not be refunded. In the case of candidates who submit application for re- checking within the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipts as stated above , the marks awarded by the examiner for the several questions willbe re- checked and if it is found that omistion to award marks to a question or a sub - division of a question , the papers will be goat re - checked and discrepancies will be rectified by the examiner.
