Explanatory Note
A Select List of persons fit for promotion to the category of Lecturer in Health Education and Family Planning in the Department of Medical Education for the year 2004 and 2006 were published videNotification Nos . DPC1 / 24384/03 /DME , dated 25-3-2004 and DPC2 /466/06/DME , dated 19-6-2006 respectively. As per G. O. (Rt .) No. 3519/07/ H& FWD dated 15-10-2007, Government ordered to reviewing the select list of persons fit for promotion to the category of Lecturer in Health Education for the year 2004, facilitating the restoration of seniority to Shri M. Sivankutty Nair giving him notional promotion w.e.f. 11-5-2004 on which the date of SmtMercy Xavier was given promotion as Lecturer inHealth Education. Hence the revised select list .
Dr. A. Remla is Senior to Smt . C. S. Sushama Devi inthe cadre of Biochemist . She was provisionally promoted as Senior Scientific Officer. Her provisional promotion has not been regularised by OPC so far. Her case was examined after receiving her representation dated 27-9-2006 . On verification it is found that her name was not included in the select list prepared earlier . So as to regularise the provisional promotion her name is to be included in the select list . Hence the select list for the year 2004 was reviewed .
