14thDecember 2007 Competitive postal tenders in sealed cover superscribing the name of work is invited under two cover system for and on behalf of the Goveracr of Kerala by the undersigned from "A" Clam or equivalent registered contractors (individual/firm) ofthe Public Works Department upto 4 .m. on 29-1-2008. Technical bids s الحظ be opened by the Superintending Engineer or by an authorised officer on the same day at 4.30 p. inthe presence of tenderers prescat . The Depart ment will not be responsible in any way for the non-receipt of tenders in tiste dar to the pul or any other delay.
The technical bid will be examined and decided by the Chief Engineer's Tender Comitice and qualified bidders will be intimated . Financial bid of pre-qualified bidders shall be opened afier notifying the date and time to the qualified bidders.
Technicalbid and financial bid and B. M. D. shall be enclosed in separate covers superscribing "Technical Bid" and "Financial Bid " as the case may be and both covers along with the cover containing E.M.D. and preliminary agrement shallbe enclosed in a single scaled envelope superscribing the name ofwork.

Tender forms shall be issued only to those renderer (individual / firina) who produce certificate to this effect issued by the concerned Engineer,
4. No tender on joint venture is acceptable 5. The tenderer shall enclose a programme chart ofwork along with the tender.
6. Receipt of sale of tender form must be attached along with the teader.
7. The rates quoted by the teaderer will be final and there would be no post - ge der negotiations regarding the quoted rates.
