Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of the following stores so as to reach the Police Headquarters , Thiruvananthapuram , Kerala on or before 12 Noon on 29-1-2008.

Cost of tender forms Rs . 2,000+ VAT for Sl . Nos . 1 and 15 , Rs . 1,000+ VAT for Sl . No. 4, Rs . 700+ VAT for Sl . Nos . 6, 9, 12 and 13 , Rs . 150+ VAT for Sl . No. 11 , and Rs . 400+ VAT for all others.

The tenders should be superscribed with tender number and name of the Store articles and addressed to the Director General of Police , Kerala , Thiruvananthapuram - 10 . Late tenders will not be accepted . The tenders will be opened at the time mentioned above , in the presence of the tenderers or their authorised representatives (with proof of identity) who maybe present at that time.
Intending tenderers may on application to the Director General of Police, obtain requisite tender forms on which the tenders should be submitted. In the case of Foreign Equipments the rate is to be quoted in Indian Money also . Preference will be given to those who are ready to supply the item without opening letter of Credit . No advance payment can be made for procuring any of the above items . Intending tenderers may also include for installation of technical items , training of officers and on-site support such as atleast 3 years of warranty, and thereafter A.M.C./A.T.S . for a period of 3 years on a turn key basis at a reasonable cost ( to be specified along with the Quotation) in the tenders .
Application for tender forms should be accompanied by a cash remittance of price fixed for a form which is not refundable . The sale of tender form will be closed at 4 p . m . on 28-1-2008 . Cheques, Drafts , Postage Stamps etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms nor will the forms be sent by V. P.P. However Money Orders sent in the name of the Additional Assistant Inspector General of Police , Police Headquarters , Iniruvananthapuram -10 willbe accepted . The amount should include the postage/courier charges for sending Tender Documents . The Money Order along with the request should reach Police Headquarters atleast 7 days before the closing of the sales of the tender documents enabling us to send the documents well in advance .
Earnest Money Deposit @ 1 % of quoted value should be furnished in favour of Additional Assistant Inspector General of Police , Police Headquarters , Thiruvananthapuram -10 . The firms which are exempted from furnishing Earnest Money Deposit should produce a copy of relevant authorized documents for verification,
Specifications and list of items of each tender shall be obtainable from PHQ with the tender forms . The firms should also furnish the detailed specifications , make , brochures , Test Report from Government Laborataries /Agencies , technical support network in Kerala etc. of the equipments along with the tenders . The tenders without detailed specifications of quoted items , brochures , make etc. will be rejected forthwith . The tenders without separate envelope and not superscribing the tender number etc. will be rejected.
The tenders should also mention thedetails of A.M.C.JA.T.S. and warranty etc. alongwith the terder documents . Preference will be given to the products quotedby the manufacturer or their authorised dealers having authorisation from the original manufacturer . Similarly preferences will be given to the tenders having experience of supplying similar/same items to Government Departments or Organisations .

Intending tenderers may obtain the requisite tender forms from the Principal , Government Engineering College , Thrissur on cash remittance of Rs . 169, the price fixed for the requisite tender form. Duplicate form , if required will be issued at Rs . 113 per copy . Tender forms are not transferable . The sale of tender forms will be closed at 12 Noon on 28-1-2008 .
