Based on the directions of the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala in their Judgment dated 1-11-2006 in WP (C) No. 28496/06 , the Seniority in respect of the following Officers in the Cadre of APSIs have been re- fixed by including them in the Select List of Havildars fit for promotion as APASIS/APSTs for the year 1990.

2. Consequent on the above re - fixation of Seniority they became eligible for inclusion in the Select List of APSIs fit for promotion as APIs for the year 2004 (for the vacancies in 2005 ) . Accordingly the Ad-hoc DPCDPC (Lower ) held on 27-11-2007 had examined their cases for inclusion of their names in the Select List ofAPSIs fit for promotion as APIs for the year 2004 (for the vacancies in 2005) .
3. The Departmental Promotion Committee had decided to include them in the Select List ofAPSIs fit for promotion as APIs for the year 2004 (for the vacancies in 2005) as Sl. Nos. 5 (a) , (b) , (c) , (4) & (e) as indicated below .

6. The Select List of APSIs fit for promotion as APIs for the year 2004 published Vide PHQ Notification No. T4/32379/06 dated 2-6-2006 stands modified to the above extent,

Smt . P. P. Sobhanakutty, Junior Superintendent was superseded from the Sclect List of Junior Superintendent fit for promotion as SS /Manager /A.Ο . for the year 2006 ( for the vacancies in 2007) by the DPC ( Lower) held on 22-6-2007, in view of the Adverse Remarks in her Annual Confidential Reports during the years 2004 & 2005. The Adverse Remarks in her ACRs were subsequently expunged Vide Order No. 424/Camp / 07 / ISR dated 1-10-2007 of the Inspector General of Police , Thrissur Range .
2. She then filed WP ( C) No.30610/ 07 before the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala on 16-10-2007 praying for a direction to consider her representation dated 4-10-2007 ( Expt . P3 ) and to take immediate steps for including her name in the Select Listby Convening an Ad -hoc DPC and to give her all consequential bedefits,

Based on the direction of the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala Vide the Judgment dated 16-10-2007 the Ad-hoc DPC (Lower) held on 27-11-2007 had re-examined her case and decided to include her name in the Select List of Junior Superintendent fit for promotion as SS /Manager/A. O. for the Year 2006 ( for the vacancies in 2007) as SI. No. 15 ( a) as indicated below.
