SPECIAL CONDITIONS

1. The materials supplied should be in strict conformity with the specifications given in the list of articles appended with tender notice .

2. Quantity shown in the tender notice is approximate . The successful tenderer is bound to supply the actual numbers shown in the supply order ( Which may be more or less than published quantity ) during the contract period at the rates and conditions .

3. The rates quoted should be inclusive of all taxes ( if applicable ) , loading , unloading charges etc. for delivery at pesticide testing laboratory and cost of installation charges of the equipment (without incurring any extra cost for this department) .

4. Tender should be submitted in the prescribed form along with an agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 50 (Rs . fifty only) .

5. Special conditions and supply order will form part of the agreement and special condition should be returned with tender form duly signed in proper place by the tenderer.

6. Before supplying commence the successful tenderer should execute an agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 50 ( Fifty only ) in prescribed form.. He will also have to deposit a security of 5 % of tendered amount which inclusive of Earnest Money Deposit furnished . The security should be in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Deputy Director of Agriculture - cum - Senior Chemist, Pesticides Testing Laborotory Parottukonam , Thiruvananthapuram is payable Travancore, Vellayambalam Branch . State Bank of 7. The rates quoted should be firm upto 31-3-2008 and contract is valid upto 31-3-2008.

8. The supply should be completed within 15 days of receipt of supply order and claim settled at the latest by 31-3-2008 .

9. Undersigned is at liberty to test and satisfy the quality and quantity of supplied articles and the contractor is liable to replace any item damaged during such testingat his cost.

10. The contractor or his agent should be present at the time of opening of tender.

11. The contractor or his agent should be present at the time of supply and should entrust the articles to the officers concerned at this laboratory. The transportation , loading and unloading etc. should be met by the contractor .

12. On completion of supply the invoice in triplicate should be drawn in favour of Deputy Director Agriculture - cum-Senior Chemist, Pesticides Testing Laboratory , Parottukonam for of effecting payment .

13. Scparate bills should be sent for each order .
