Sealed and competitive tenders in the prescribed form are invited from the manufacturers or authorized suppliers for the supply of Bulbs and Surgical Instraments to the Department of Ophthalmology, Medical College, Kozhikode .
Estimate Cost-Rs . 1,81,150 .
Tender forms can be had from the Office of the Principal , Medical College , Kozhikode directly on payment of Rs. 416 (Rupees Four hundred and sixteen only ) on or before 18-2-2008 , 11.30 a.m. or by registered post on or before 11-2-2008 producing Money Order taken in favour of Principal , Medical College, Kozhikode for Rs . 453 (Rupees Four hundred and fifty three only) . Tenders should be superscribed as "S5-285/2008/MCC " and addressed to the Principal , Medical College , Kozhikode . Tenders should be submitted on or before 18-2-2008 , 12 Noon , Belated tenders will not be accepted . Each tender should be submitted along with an agreement signed and executed in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 50 and EMD @ 1 % of the total cost of the items tendered for . The tenders will be opened on 18-2-2008 at 12.30 p.m , in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives .
Rate should be quoted in Indian Rupees only against payment . The tenders which do not satisfy the conditions and the tenders without the agreement and sufficient Earnest Money Deposit are liable to be rejected without any notice . Cheques, Drafts , Postage Stamps etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of the tender forms.
