Travancore Devaswom Board
PRELIMINARY NOTIFICATION
R. O. C. No. 6171/2007/C. A. 24th January
2008.
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (E) of
Sub-Section (2) of Section 35 of the Travancore-Cochin
Hindu Religious Institutions Act (XV of 1950) 1950 and
also on the basis of all other enabling provisions, the
Travancore Devaswom Board hereby propose to delete the
provisions regarding the qualifications for the appointment
of Nadaswaram, Thakil, Panchavadyam and substitute the
following provisions in the existing Rules, amended as per
the Notification No. ROC. 6669/2001/Mis.III. dated
3-10-2001.
"A pass certificate from the Kshethrakalapeedom of
Travancore Devaswom Board and Rank List for the same
will be prepared subject to the eligibility of the candidate
and also taking into consideration of passing the year of
their examination ".
Whoever proposes to file any objections to the above
said notification should forward their objections within 30
days (within thirty days) from the date of the publication
of the notification to the Secretary, Travancore Devaswom
Board, Nanthencode, Thiruvananthapuram-
695 003. If no objection is received within the above
stipulated time it would be presumed that there is no
objection for any one in the said notification and the same
will come into effect from the date of this Notification.
