In pursuance of the directions of the Hon'ble Central Administrative Tribunal , Ernakulam , Bench Ernakulam in O. A. No. 35/2003 and O. A. No. 139/2004 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub - rule ( 1 ) of Rule & of the Indian Forest Scrvice (Recruitment) Rules , 1966, read with sub regulation ( 1) of Regulation 9 of the Indian Forest Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations , 1966 , the President is pleased to appoint Sri Patric Gomez ( DOB: 3-3-1948 ) , a State Forest Service Officer of Kerala to the Indian Forest Service on the basis of Select List of 2000 with immediate effect and to allocate him to Kerala Cadre of Indian Forest Service under sub - rule ( 1 ) of Rule 5 of the Indian Forest Service ( Cadre) Rules .
