Competitive tenders in two separate sealed superscribing work Pre-qualification and execution of the Covers for the name of following works are invited by the Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering South Circle, Thiruvananthapuram for and on behalf of the Governor of Kerala from Firms / Registered ' A' Class Contractors of any State P.W.D. , Irrigation Department , CPWD, Port Trusts etc. having previous experience in similar works , and who have executed at least a single similar work previously amounting to 40% of the estimated PAC .

A Certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of an Executive Engineer to prove the experience and capacity for executing the work to be produced .

Those who have previous experience in Wharf work,Bridge work , major Civil Engineering structural works with bored pile foundation having sufficient financial capacity and machineries and who have executed at least a similar single work as mentioned above costing Rs . 180 lakhs previously are eligible to submit the tender . A certificate issued by an officer not below the rank of an Executive Engineer to prove the experience and capacity for executing the work to be produced.

and Tender documents (Pre-qualification Execution ofworks ) can be had from the office of the undersigned from 4-3-2008 upto 1 p . m. on 14-3-2008 during office hours on remittance of Rs . 4,000+ VAT for each work , to ards the cost.
The Pre- qualification tender schedule (3 copies) containing the questionnairé, duly filled upby the tenderer and tender schedule (Price bid) for the work should be submitted in separate sealed covers. The pre-qualification documents shouldbe in book form with serially numbered pages having an index sheet showing the contents and page numbers . Name of work should be written on the sealed covers and the sealed covers should be sent by registered post/speed post so as to reach the office of the undersigned before 3 p . m. on 19-3-2008.
Tenders which are received after 3 p . m. on 19-3-2008 due to postal delay or due to any other reason will not be considered. This department will not be responsible for any such

on the next delay. If the last date of the receipt of tender tender happens to be a holiday, tenders wwillbebe accepted upto 3 p . m . working day . Preliminary agreement duly filled in and signed on stamp paper worth Rs . 50 should accompany the tender for the work and EMD of Rs . 50,000 for each work in the form of Demand Draft pledged in favour of the undersigned should also be enclosed in a separate cover. Tender submitted without preliminary agree- ment and EMD (duly pledged) will be rejected out right. The pre- qualification tenders alone will be opened on 19-3-2008 at 3.30 p . m. and will be submitted to the Chief Engineer for scrutiny and evaluation by the Committee constituted for this purpose. Only the tenders of those who have been pre-qualified will be opened later and the date of opening of the tenders of the contractors/ firms who have been pre- qualified willbe intimated. later . All the conditions in Govt . Order (Ms.) No.43/ 99/I.R.D. dated 9-6-1999 and other conditions for considering the tender will be applicable for this tender also . The work is purely skilled and no preference will be given to Labour Contract Co-operative Societies for this tender . The undersigned reserves the right to deny any application for pre-qualification and tender documents and to reject the tender submitted by the applicant without assigning any reason.

The details of work done during the previous financial year should be furnished along with the Pre- qualification document . Pre-qualification documents alone will be opened at 4.30 p . m. on the last day of acceptance of tender and will be submitted to Chief Engineer's Committee for evaluation . The tenders of those who have been pre- qualified will only be opened later and the tenders of those who are not pre -qualified will be summarily rejected without opening the tender . The date of opening of the tenders of the contractors/firms who have been pre-qualified will be intimated. The firm period of the tender is 4 months from the date of opening of the tenders.

ദർഘാസ' ഫോറങ്ങൾ തുറമുഖ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് വകുപ്പ പദ്ധതി സർക്കിൾ, കൊല്ലം ഓഫീസിൽനിന്നും 4-3-2008 മുതൽ 11-3-2008 പകൽ 3 മണിവരെ ദർഘാസ് ഫോറത്തിന്റെ വിലയും നികുതിയും അടച്ച് യോഗ്യത തെളിയിക്കുന്ന രേഖകൾ ഹാജരാക്കി രേഖാമൂലം അപേക്ഷിച്ചാൽ ലഭിക്കുന്നതാണ് . പ്രവൃത്തിക്കുള്ള ദർഘാസ് , (പ്രവൃത്തിയുടെ പേരും മറ്ററും കവറിന്റെ മുകളിൽ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി സിൽ ചെയ്തത് 18-3-2008 - ന് വൈകുന്നേരം 4 മണിക്ക് മുമ്പായി രജിസ്റോർഡ് തപാൽ അഥവാ സ്പീഡ് പോസ്റ് മുഖേന കൊല്ലം ഹാർബർ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് വകുപ്പ് പദ്ധതി സർക്കിൾ സൂപ്രണ്ടിംഗ് എഞ്ചിനീയർക്ക ലഭിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം സമർപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതാണ് . 18-3-2008.m വൈകുന്നേരം 4 മണക്ക്ശേഷം ലഭിക്കുന്ന സുകൾ ആയത് പാൽ തകരാറു മൂലമോ ഏതെങ്കിലും കാരണവശാലോ ആയാലും സ്വീകരിക്കു ന്നതല്ല . ഇങ്ങനെയുണ്ടാകുന്ന കാലതാമസത്തിന് ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്മെൻറ് യാതൊരു കാരണവശാലും ഉത്തരവാദി ആയിരിക്കുന്നതല്ല ദർഘാസ് സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന അവസാന ദിവസം ഏതെങ്കിലും കാരണവശാൽ പൊതു അവധിയായി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ തൊട്ടടുത്ത പ്രവർത്തി ദിവസം വൈകുന്നേരം 4 മണി വരെ ദർഘാസുകൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതാണ് . ദർഘാസ് പ്രമാണങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം 50 രൂപ വിലയുള്ള മുദ്ര പത്രത്തിൽ പ്രാഥമിക ഉടമ്പടി ഒപ്പിട്ട് സമർപ്പിക്കേ ണ്ടതും അതോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ സൂപ്രണ്ടിംഗ് എഞ്ചിനീയർ , പ്രോജക്ട് സർക്കിൾ , കൊല്ലം -2 എന്ന പേരിൽ ആവശ്യമായ നിരവദ്രവ്യം നിയമപ്രകാരം കെട്ട ചെയ്യേണ്ടതുമാണ് . അപ്രകാരം ചെയ്യാത്ത ദർഘാസുകൾ നിരസിക്കുന്ന താണ് . ദർഘാസുകൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന അവസാന ദിവസം വൈകുന്നേരം 4.30 -ന് ഹാജരുള്ള കരാറു കാരുടേയോ അവർ രേഖാമൂലം അധികാരപ്പെടുത്തി യിട്ടുള്ള പ്രതിനിധികളുടേയോ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ദർഘാസുകൾ തുറക്കുന്നതാണ് . ദർഘാസിൻറെ പീരിയഡ് ദർഘാസ് തുറക്കുന്ന ദിവസം മുതൽ ആയിരിക്കു . കേരള പൊതുമരാമത്ത വകുപ്പ്/ഹാർബർ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് വകുപ്പുകളിലെ എല്ലാ നിബന്ധനകളും ദർഘാസ് പരിഗണനയ്ക്കുള്ള മററ് അനുബന്ധ ഉത്തര വുകളും ഈ ദർഘാസിനും ബാധകമായിരിക്കും . ദർഘാസ് ഫോറങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള അപേക്ഷയോ പുരിപ്പിച്ച് സമർപ്പിക്കുന്ന ദർഘാസ് (പ്രമാണങ്ങളോ യാതൊരു കാരണവും കാണിക്കാതെ തന്നെ നിരസിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള അധികാരം താഴെ ഒപ്പിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ആളിൽ നിക്ഷിപ്തത മാണ് . ദർഘാസ് സംബന്ധമായ
