Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Lab Epuipments and Chemicals , Pressure Cooker, Refrigerator, Laser Printer , Barcode Scanner , Scanner DVD writer, Collar mike , Amplifier , Cordless mike, Sound box , Connecting Cables , adapter , etc. under UGC ( XI Plan) Scheme for Rs . 1,14,000 for the year 2007-03 . Tenders should superscribed "Tender for the supply of Lab Equipments and Chemicals etc. for the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Commerce , English, Malayalam and General Library Government be to on College, Madappally 2007-08 and addressed to the Principal , Government College , Madappally, Madappally College P. O. , Vadakara-2. Lastdate for the receipt of teader is 3p.m. 27-3-2003 . The tenders will be opened at 4 p.m. on 27-3-2008 in the presence of such tenderers or their authorised representatives who may be present at that time .
Intending tenderers may submit an application to the Principal , Government College , Madappally , Vadakara - 2 to obtain requisite tender forms on which tenders should be submitted . Application for tender forms should be accompanied by cash remittance of Rs . 440 ( including ST) which is the price fixed for a form and which is not refundable under any circumstances . The tender forms are not transferable . Sale of tender forms will be closed at 2.30 p . m . on 27-3-2008 . Cheques , Drafts , Postal Orders , Postage Stamps will not be accepted Tender forms will not be forwarded by V.P.P. Duplicate tender forms if required will be issued at Rs.220 ( including ST) per copy .
CONDITIONS
1. The tenders should be submitted in the prescribedform which can be had from the College Office on payment of Rs . 440 either in person or by sending M. O. Cheques , Drafts , Postal Orders , Postage Stamps will not be accepted. The cost of duplicate tender form is Rs. 220 .
2. Every teaderer who has not registered with the State Goverament Store Purchase Department should also remit @ Rs . 1 % of the total cost of articles tendered for as EMD . The EMD can be paid by way of T. D. R. , D. D. etc.
3. Articles should be supplied ( and installed) in the college within the time limit specified .
4. Price quoted should be inclusive of all taxes , and duties ,

Tenders will be opened in the presence of such tenderers or their authorised representatives who may be present at thattime.
Intending tenderers may , on application to the Principal , N.M.S.M. Government College , Kalpetta , Puzhamudi P. O. Wayanad obtain the requisite tender forms on which tenders should be submitted . The tender forms are not transferable . The cost of tender maybe remitted either in cash or by Money Order . Cheques , Drafts or Postal Orders will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms . No tender forms willbe sent by V.P.P. Duplicate tender forms if, required wilt be issued on payment . The tender forms canbe had from the office upto 2 p . m . on working days. The cost of tender forms will not be refundable .
An Earnest Money Deposit 1 % of the total value and an agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 50 (Rupees Fifty only ) should be submitted along with the each tender forms .
Firms/Suppliers outside Kerala may send Rs . 75 by M. O. if they require the stamp paper by post. All Government rules prevailing will be applicable to the tender . Due to any reason of the tender opening day is declared as a holiday, the tenders will be opened on the next working day at the same time . The Principal is empowered to cancel tender without assigning any reasons thereof. The pay- ment of the articles supplied and installed will be effected only after it got tested and certified by experts from LBS or by other competent authority . Each and every tenders should specify the brand name and model name /Number of items intend to supply . Failing which the tenders will be rejected. Tenders also to specify whether DGS & D rates are applicable if so details should be furnished . Rates , Sales- tax and condition of supply and installation ete. shouldbe clearly stated in respect of each item . The tender for offering assembled equipments will not be accepted . The successful tenderer should also execute an agreement on Stamp paper worth Rs . 50 and deposit a sum equivalent 5 % of the value of the contract as security deposit for the satisfactory full filment of contract . More details will be had from the College Office during the working hours .
