NOTIFICATION
KASARAGOD DISTRICT NOTIFICATION
UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE KERALA SURVEY AND BOUNDARIES Act, 1961 No. A-264/2008/KMC .

Whereas the Government of Kerala have in Notification No. G. O. (Ms. ) 16/87 dated 16-1-1987 appointed the Special Tahsildar (LA) , Kasaragod to perform the functions of a Collector under the Land Acquisition Act , 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894) ;
And whereas it appears to the Government of Kerala that the land specified in the schedule below is needed or is likely to be needed for a public purpose , to wit for Rehabilitation of SC family in Kasaragod Municipality-A Scheme of Kasaragod Municipality.
Whereas the Government have directed the survey of land comprised in survcy number noted below, it is hereby notified under sub- section ( 1) of Section 6 of the Kerala Survey and Boundaries Act, 1961, that survey operation will be started in the Village soon and the survey number of the Village noted below will be demarcated and surveyed and that every person claiming to be interested in the registered land situated within or adjoining the undermentioned lands is hereby invited to attend immediately either in person or by agent on the surveyor employed in the locality and also from time to time when called upon for the purpose of pointing out the boundaries and supplying information in connection herewith .
Now, therefore, notice to that effect is hereby given to all whom it may concern, in accordance with the provisions of sub- section ( 1) of section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

Under sub - section ( 2 ) of Section 6 of the said Act, this notification shall be held to be a valid notice to every person having any interest in the undermentioned lands .

Under sub - section ( 3) of Section 6 of the above said Act, all the registered holders are hereby required:-
As on ground-Garden
Approximate Extent-0.4047 Hectare .
(a) to clear within 15 daysby cutting down or removing any trees , jungle, fences , standing crops or other material obstru- ctions, the boundaries or other lines , the clearance of which may be necessary for the purpose of survey ; and
കേരള സർക്കാരിൻറെ 16-1-1987 -ാം തീയതിയിലെ ജി.ഒ. ( എം.എസ്‌ . ) 16 / 87-ാം നമ്പർ വിജ്ഞാപനപ്രകാരം 1894ലെ സ്ഥലമെടുപ്പ് ആക്ട് ( 1894 ലെ 1-ാം കേന്ദ്ര ആക്ട് ) അനുസരിച്ച് ജില്ലാ കളക്‌ടറുടെ ചുമതലകൾ നിർ വ്വഹിക്കുന്ന തി ന് കാസറഗോഡ് ലാൻറ് അക്വിസിഷൻ സ്പെഷ്യൽ തഹശീൽദാരെ നിയമിച്ചിരി ക്കുന്നതിനാലും ;
(b) to provide labour at such time and for such periods as may from time to time be required by furnishing flag holders and chainmen; and
ഇതോടൊപ്പം പട്ടികയിൽ വിവരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലം ഒരു പൊതു ആവശ്യത്തിന് അതായത് പട്ടികജാതി കുടുംബങ്ങളെ പുനരധിവസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടി ആവശ്യമുണ്ടെന്നോ ആ വ ശ്യ മുണ്ടാ യേ ക്കാ മെ ന്നോ കളക്ടർക്ക് ബോദ്ധ്യപ്പെട്ടതിനാലും ;
(c) to provide suitable survey marks and otherwise to give such assistance in the survey as may be demanded under the saidAct or the Rules made thereunder .
ഇതിനാൽ തൻമൂലം ഇതുമായി ബന്‌ധപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാ വ്യക്തികൾക്കും 1894 -ലെ സ്ഥലമെടുപ്പ് ആക്ട് 4-ാം വകുപ്പിലെ ഒന്നാം ഉപവകുപ്പിലെ വ്യവസ്ഥകൾക്കനു സ്വതമായി ഇക്കാര്യത്തിലുള്ള നോട്ടീസ് ഇതിനാൽ ജില്ലാ നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

If any person fails to comply with these requisi- tions under clauses (a) to (c) mentioned above , the work willbe got done by employing hired labour and the cost thereof will be recovered from the defaulters as provided in the Act and Rules made thereunder .
