S. R. O. No. 1035/2008.- WHEREAS , the place specified in the Schedule below is of vital importance to the country ;
AND WHEREAS , information with respect thereto, or the destruction or obstruction thereof, or interference therewith , would be useful to an enemy;
Now, THEREFORE , in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- clause (d) of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Central Act 19 of 1923 ), read with Notification S. O. No. 1285 dated the 4th May , 1963 of the Ministry of Home Affairs , Government of India, the Government of Kerala hereby declare the place specified in the Schedule below to be a "Prohibited Place " for the purposes of the said Act and direct that acopy of this Notification , both in English and Malayalam languages , be affixed to the said place .

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification , but is intended to indicate its general purport . )
at It is considered necessary that the place mentioned in the Schedule to the above Notification, namely , the 33 KV Sub Station of the Kerala State Electricity Board Tholambra in Kannur District should be declared as a " Prohibited Place" under the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Central Act 19 of 1923 ) , as the installation place is of vital importance to the country .
This notification is intended to achieve the above object.

ഔദ്യോഗിക രഹസ്യങ്ങൾ ആക്റ് ഇപ്പോൾ, അതിനാൽ , 1923 - ലെ ഔദ്യോഗിക (1923 -ലെ 19 -ാം കേന്ദ്ര ആക്റ് ) ലെ 2-ാം വകുപ്പ് ( 8 )-ാം ഖണ്ഡം ( ഡി) സർക്കാരിന്റെ ആഭ്യന്തരകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിൻറ ഉപഖണ്ഡവും ഭാരത 1963 മേയ് 4-ാം തീയതിയിലെ എസ് . ഒ . 1285-ാം നമ്പർ വിജ്ഞാപനവും കൂട്ടിവായിച്ചുപ്രകാരം , നൽകപ്പെട്ട അധികാരങ്ങൾ വിനിയോഗിച്ച് , കേരള സർക്കാർ , താഴെ പട്ടികയിൽ വ്യക്തമായി എടുത്തു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ള സ്ഥലം പ്രസ്തുത ആക്റിന്റെ ആവശ്യത്തിലേക്കായി ഒരു " നിരോധിത സ്ഥലം" ആയി ഇതിനാൽ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയും ഈ വിജ്ഞാപനത്തിന്റെ ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലും മലയാളത്തിലുമുളള 60000 പകർപ്പ പ്രസ്തുത പതിച്ചിരിക്കണമെന്ന നിർദേശം നൽകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു . സ് ഥല ത്ത
