NOTIFICATION
Consequent upon the decision dated 24-9-2008 of Union Public Service Commission to declare the inclusion of the name of C. Rajagopal (Dae of Birth 10-3-1953 ) as unconditional in the Select List of 2007 prepared, for promotion of State Police Service Officers of Kerala to Kerala Cadre of Indian Police Service , by the Selection Committee in its Commision meeting held on 23-6-2008 and approved by the on 30-7-2008 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub -rule (1 ) of rule 9 of the Indian Police Service [ Recruitment Rules , 1954, read with sub -regulation ( 1 ) of regulation 9 of the Indian Police Service G. 859/2008/G .

(Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955 , the President is pleased to appoint Shri . C. Rajagopal ( Date of Birth 10-3-1953 ) , a member of Kerala Police Service to the Indian Police Service on probation and to allocate him to the cadre of Kerala under sub-rule ( 1 ) of the Rule 5 of the Indian Police Service ( Cadre ) rules , 1954. The appointment will take effect from the date of issue of this notification.
