Tender documents for Pre- qualification and work can he had from the office of the under- signed on all working days from 2-12-2008 to 6-12-2008 during working hours and upto 3 p . m . on 6-12-2008 on application in writing providing eligibility and on payment of Rs . 4,000 +VAT towards cost of tender schedule. The sale of Tender schedule for Pre - Qualification and the work will be closed at 3 j.. m . on 6-12-2008 . The Pre - qualification. documents containing the questionnaire duly filled up by the tenderer ( 3 copies inin book form) along with preliminary agreement signed in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 50 and with required E. M. D. pledged in favour of the undersigned in cover No. 1 and the duly filled teuder doccuments for the work (price bid) in cover No. 2 should be submitted . Name of work The Superintending Engineer , Harbour Engineering Central Circle , Ernakulam for and on behalf of the Governor of Kerala invite competitive tenders in two separate sealed covers for Pre- qualification and execution of following work from Firms/ Registered 'A' Class contractors of any State P.W.D./Irrigation Department/Central Public Works Department who are financially capable and with previous experience in satisfactorily completing similar work costingosting not less than 40 % of PAC within a period of 5 years ( from the date of this notification) . Relevant Čertificate to the effect from an officer not below the rank of Superintending should be clearly written on the sealed cover and posted by Registered /Speed post so as to reach the undersigned before 3 p.m. од 16-12-2008. Tenders which are received after 3 p.m. on 16-12-2008 due to postal delay or on any other reasons will not be considered . Department will not be responsible for any such delays . If the last date of receipt oftender happens to be a holiday tenders will be accepted upto 3 p.m. on the next working day. Tenders submitted through any courier service will not be considered . Tenders submitted without preliminary agreement and the required E. M. D. will be rejected out right .
be The details of work done during the previous financial year should be furnished along with the Pre-qualification document . Pre- qualification documents alone will be opened at 3.30 p . m . on the last day of acceptance of tender and will submitted to Chief Engineers committee for evaluation . The tenders of those who have been pre- qualified will only be opened later and the tenders of those who are not pre- qualified will be summarily rejected without opening the tender . The date of opening of the tenders of the contractors /firms who have been pre -qualified will be intimated. The firm periodperiod of the tender is 4 months from the date of opening of the tenders .
The tenders have to produce the originals fof the pre- qualification documents within 3 days from the date of opening of the pre - qualification tender for verification .
All the conditions in the Government Order No. G.O. (MS ) 48/99 / IRD dated 9-6-1999 and further clarifications and other conditions for consideration of tenders will be applicable to this tender . In respect of Para V of this G. O. the clarifications issued by the Government vide letter No. 7365/H3 /2000/ PWD dated 1-4-2000 will be applicable . G. O. (RT) No. 255 /04/ F &PD dated 29-6-2004 will also be applicable to this tender. Co-operative Societies will not be eligible for any price preference for this tender . The undersigned reserves the right to reject the Pre- Qualification/ Tender document without assigning any reason .
