PAC—Rs. 75,000.

EMD—1% of PAC in the form of DD drawn in favour of the undersigned payable at SBT, Vellayambalam.

Security Deposit—5% of Total Contract Amount inclusive of EMD furnished as above.

Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders will be opened in the presence of such tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time. The price of the tender form shall be received only by cash or money order (Postal Charges extra). The tender should be submitted in the prescribed form along with an agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50. Details with respect to the tender notice and materials intended to be purchased can be obtained from the office of the undersigned at working hours.

The Rules and Regulations prescribed for tenders by Government of Kerala shall be applicable to this tender also.

1. Intending tenderers may on application to the Controller of Stationery, Kerala, Thiruvanan- thapuram-695 033 obtain in the requisite tender forms on which the tenders are to be submitted.

2. Sale of tender forms will be closed at 24 hours before the time fixed for the opening of the tender. Cost of tender forms will be accepted either in cash (remitted in office) or by money order only and should be sent to the Controller of Stationery Thiruvananthapuram-695 033. (Name of the officer should not be mentioned). Cheques, Postage Stamps and Demand Drafts will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms and the tender forms will not be sent by VPP. The cost of tender forms is not refundable under any circumstances. The tender number and the name of the item for which the tender form is required should be clearly specified in the application/M.O. Coupon. The tenderers may request to quote for branded items only. The tender forms are not transferable. The last date and time for receipt of tender is 3 p. m. on the day fixed for opening of tender and the tender will be opened at 4 p. m. on the same day.

3. The cover containing the tender shall be appropriately superscribed with the tender number and name of item and addressed to the Controller of Stationery, Thiruvananthapuram-695 033. The tenders should be superscribed "Tender No. 7/2008-09 for the supply of Machinery and Equipments to Computer Department and addressed to the Principal, Government Polytechnic College, Kasaragod, P. O. Periye-671 316. The last date for receipt of tender is on 17-12-2008 at 11 a. m. The tenders will be opened at 3 p.m. on the same day in the presence of such tenderers or their authorised representatives who may be present at that time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the Principal, Government Polytechnic College, Kasaragod, P. O. Periye-671 316 may obtain the requisite tender forms on which tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 165 which is the price fixed for the tender form. The tender forms are not transferable. The sale of the tender forms will be closed at 3 p.m. on 16-12-2008. Cheques, Drafts, Postal Orders etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms, nor will the forms sent by V. P. P. Duplicate tender forms if required will be issued at a cost of Rs. 110 per copy.
