SHORT TENDER NOTICE

Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply of Water Purifier - cum- Water Cooler for the use ofGovt . College , Kariavattom in the year 2008-09 . Scaled tenders should be addressed to the Principal , Government College , Kariavattom, Thiruvanantha- puram, Pin -695 581 and should reach the office on or before 19-12-2008 at 2.30 p . m . Tenders received in time will be opened on the very same day at 3 p . m . in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time .
Estimated Cost-Rs . 25,000 .
Tender forms will be available on all working days from 10 a . m . to 2 p . m . till 19-12-2008 at the cost of Rs . 150. ( 12 % sales tax extra ) . Those who wish to get tender forms by post should sent M. O. for cost of tender form and sales tax ( 12 %) along with self addressed cover affixed with sufficient stamps . No other mode of payment is acceptable . Tender forms will not be sent by V. P. P. All the tenderers should executed an agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 50 (videle pagepage No. 6th of the tender form) . The Earnest Money Deposit is required @ 1 % of the total cost of the materials quoted in tenders and should be remitted by Demand Draft or Fixed Deposit Receipts subject to the minimum of Rs . 50. The tenderers who are eligible for exemption from payment of EMD/ S.D . should enclose copy of the latest certificate of registration issued by Government of Kerala , Store Purchase Department . Otherwise the tender will be summarisely rejected .
