9. ദർഘാസ് അംഗീകരിച്ചതായി അറിയിപ്പ് ലഭിച്ചാൽ ഓഫീസിൽനിന്നും നിർദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന സമയപരിധിക്കുള്ളിൽ പ്രവർത്തികൾ ചെയ്തുതീർക്കുന്നതിനും കരാർ പ്രകാരമുള്ള സാധനങ്ങൾ 15 ദിവസത്തിനുള്ളിൽ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും കരാറുകാരൻ ബാദ്ധ്യസ്ഥ നായിരിക്കും. ആയതു സാധിക്കാതെ വരികയാണെങ്കിൽ അതുമൂലം സർക്കാരിനു≠ാകുന്ന നഷ്ടം കരാറു കാരനിൽനിന്നും ഈടാക്കുന്നതുമാണ്.

10. ടെ≠ർ സമർപ്പിക്കുന്ന കവറിന് പുറത്ത് ദർഘാസു കാരന്റെ പൂർണ്ണമായ പേരും മേൽവിലാസവും രേഖ പ്പെടുത്തേ≠താണ്.

4. ദർഘാസുകൾ 9-1-2009 വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച പകൽ 11.30 മണി വരെ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതും അന്നേ ദിവസം 12 മണിക്ക് അപ്പോൾ ഹാജരുള്ളവരുടെയോ അവരുടെ പ്രതിനിധി കളുടെയോ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ടെ≠ർ തുറക്കുന്ന തുമാണ്.

6. ദർഘാസ് അംഗീകരിച്ചതായി അറിയിപ്പ് ലഭിച്ചാൽ ദർഘാസുകാരൻ 50 രൂപയുടെ മുദ്രപ്പത്രത്തിൽ എഴുതി തരേ≠താണ്.

7. ദർഘാസ് ഫോറങ്ങൾ 440 രൂപ വിലയ്ക്ക് ഫാം ഓഫീസിൽ നിന്നും ലഭിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

SHORT TENDER NOTICE

No. S-2982/2008/CE (I). 20th November 2008.

Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply of following items to the Chemical Examiner's Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram. The estimated amount is Rs. 13.25 Lakhs (Rupees Thirteen lakh twentyfive thousand only).

1. Trinocular Microscope with Digital Camera and phototube—1 No.

2. Digital Microscope with Computer and built in Digital Camera—2 Nos.

The tender should be superscribed "No. S-2982/08/CE (I) for the supply of Laboratory Equipments" addressed to the Chief Chemical Examiner to Government, Chemical Examiner's Laboratory, P. H. Lab Compound, Red Cross Road, Thiruvananthapuram-35, Kerala. The last date for receipt of completed tenders is 5-1-2009 at 4 p. m.

Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened at 3 p. m. on 6-1-2009 in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may present at that time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the undersigned obtain the requisite tender forms with details of items on which tenders are to be submitted. Application for the tender forms should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 788 (inclusive of S. Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply of computer and other related Equipments for Rs. 1,44,000 (Rupees One lakh fortyfour thousand only) for the Commerce Computer Lab of B. J. M. Government College, Chavara during the year 2008-09 under the assistance of Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd., Chavara.

The tenders form and the list of materials can be had from the college office on payment of Rs. 700 for original and Rs. 400 for duplicate. 12.5% VAT amount also may be remitted additionally. Those who desires to get tender form by Registered Post, should forward a self addressed envelop 30 × 15 cm. in size and stamped for Rs. 52 along with the request and cost of tender forms by money order (No other mode of payment is acceptable). The cost of tender form is not refundable in any circumstances and the tender forms are not transferable.

All the tenderers should execute an agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 (Vide Page No. 6 of the tender form). 3. Sufficent number of sample copies should be submitted for pilot run for testing, only after approval of which bulk orders will be given.

4. An officer from this office will visit the Tender's office to check and certify the quality of the stock, which is kept ready for despatch and the stock will be accepted only after that.

5. The undersigned shall be under no obligation to acept the lowest or any other tender and shall be entitled to accept or reject any tender in part or full without assigning any reason whatsoever.

6. A copy of the latest (current and valid) Income Tax Clearance Certificate should be furnished by the tenderer's along with their tender and tenders without the ITCC will not be considered.

7. Test certificate regarding the confirmation of quality of the stationery issued by Stationery Department should be furnished.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER (OEM)

OEM of equipment supplied should have been in the business of manufacturing equipments of similar specifications and providing its on site/on-line warranty services in India for the past 5 years.

OEM shall have at least 10% of market share comparable for sales of this equipment or this series of equipments in India during the past 3 years, as in market- survey reports published by the MAIT/NASSCOM/ DATAQUEST/IDC etc.

OEM shall confirm that the equipment supplied are in its current manufacturing range and have the latest technical features and specifications.

OEM shall have its Certified Service Centre in Thiruvananthapuram with OEM-trained Service Personnel engaged in Maintenance Support Service of similar equipment for the past 3 years.

OEM shall provide Comprehensive On Site Warranty and Technical support for the above equipment for 3 years from date of its installation, and agree to support or upgrade the product for at least 2 years after expiry of warranty.

AMC rate after the end of Warranty Period for 3 years, to the subsequent 2 years period to be separately indicated.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Equipment to be supplied consisting of hardware or software or services, shall have product features and technical specifications as per the best of industry standards, Printed Technical Specification Sheet and User Manual shall be supplied as part of the Equipment/ Software delievered.

WARRANTY

Equipments supplied shall carry a comprehensive warranty against manufacturing defects and non- performance for a period of Three Years from the date of installation or 30 days from the date of delivery, whichever is earlier. Warranty shall include service support for installation, operation, management, maintenance and update of the equipment without incurring any additional cost during the warranty period.

The technical and qualifying bid should be kept in one sealed cover (Cover A) and financial bid in another sealed cover (Cover B) and both covers should be enclosed in third sealed cover superscribing "Technical and Financial bid for the supply of Computers and Peripherals".

വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്ന ഉപകരണങ്ങൾക്ക് 3 വർഷത്തെ ഉൽപാദന തകരാറിനെതിരെയും പ്രവർത്തനക്ഷമതയ്ക്കെ തിരെയും ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ സ്ഥാപിച്ച തീയതി മുതലോ വിതരണം ചെയ്ത് 30 ദിവസം മുതലോ ഏതാണോ ആദ്യം അന്നുമുതൽ 3 വർഷത്തെ പൂർണ്ണ വാറ≠ി ഉ≠ായിരിക്കേ ≠താണ്. ഉപകരണം സ്ഥാപിക്കുമ്പോഴുള്ള സേവന സഹായം, പ്രവർത്തനം, നിർവ്വഹണം, പരിപാലനം, ഉപകരണം മെച്ചപ്പെടു ത്തൽ എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് അധിക ചെലവ് വാറ≠ി സമയത്ത് ഉ≠ാ യിരിക്കില്ല എന്നും വാറ≠ിയിൽ ഉ≠ാകേ≠താണ്.

4. Rates and Sales Tax and condition of supply of articles should be clearly stated in respect of each item.

5. Articles should be supplied within 15 days of the receipt of supply order at their own cost at District Medical Office (H), Kannur.

6. Tenders will be opened in the presence of such of the tenderes or their authorized representatives who may be present at the time of opening of tender.

7. Due to any reason if the day of opening the tender is declared as a public holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.

8. The District Medical Officer (H), Kannur and the purchasing committee possess the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.

9. Successful tenderer should furnish 5% of total cost as Security Deposit.

10. All the conditions applicable to Government tender will be applicable in this case also.
