Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Lab equipments and chemicals for the Departments of Physics , Chemistry, Botany and Zoology under Plan Scheme for the year 2008-09 for the use of Government College , Madappally .
Tenders should be superscribed " Tender for the supply of Lab Equipments/ Chemicals under Plan Scheme 2008-09 " and addressed to the Principal , Government College , Madappally , Madappally College P.O. , Vadakara , Pin - 673 102 , Kozhikode District . Last date for the receipt of tender is 5 p . m. on 12-1-2009. The tenders will be opened at 10a.m. on 13-1-2009 in the presence of such tenderers or their authorized representative who may be present at that time .
Intending tenderers may submit an application to the Principal , Government College , Madappally , adappally, Madappally College P.O. , Vatakara Pin - 673 102 , KozhKozhikode District,District , obtain requisite tender forms ononwhich tenders shouldbe submitted . Application for tender forms should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs . 450 ( including VAT) which is the price fixed for a form and which is not refundable under any circumstances . The tender forms are not transferable . Sale of tender forms will be closed at 2.30 p . m . on 12-1-2009 . Cheques , Drafts , Postal Order , Postage Stamps etc. , will not be accepted towards the cost of forms nor will the forms be sent per V. P. P. CONDITIONS
1. The tender should be submitted in the prescribed form which can be had from the College office on payment of Rs . 450 either in presence or by sending Money Order . Cheques , Drafts , Postal Order, Postage stamps will not be accepted . The cost of duplicate tender form is Rs . 225 .
2. Every tenderer who has not registered with the State Government Stores Purchase Department should also remit @ 1% of the total cost of articles tendered for as EMD . The EMD can be paid by way of TDR/DD etc. Demand Drafts , towards E. M. D. should be drawn on the State Bank of Travancore , Vatakara . Total amount of the prices of articles quoted by the tenderers should be worked out and recorded in the last page of the sheet quoting the price of each article .
3. The articles should be supplied (and installed) in the College with in the time limit specified .
4. The price quoted should be inclusive of all taxes and duties . Otherwise rate of taxes served up on each item should be quoted against the prices of each item.
5. The undersigned has the right to reject the tenders without assigning any reason .

The items are to be supplied at Directorate of Treasuries , Thiruvananthapuram within 30 days from the date of receipt of the supply order . The details of duties and taxes shall be specified separately. Specification of chairs will be furnished along with tender document .
Cost of tender form :
Original Rs . 400 + 12.5 % VAT . Duplicate Rs . 200 + 12.5 % VAT .
