G. O. (Rt. ) No. 2790/2008/LBR . Thiruvananthapuram, 7th November 2008.
Whereas, the Government are of opinion that an industrial dispute exists between The Manager, Carmel Book Stall , Cotton Hill P. O. , Thiruvananthapuram -695 014 and the workman of the above referred establishment Shri V. T. Manuel , Velamparambil , T. C. 79/2720 , Plavilakam, Venpalavattom , Anayara P. O. , Thiruvananthapuram in respect of matters mentioned in the annexure to this order;
And whereas , in the opinion of Government is is necessary to refer the said industrial dispute for adjudication :
Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 ( 1 ) (c) of the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947 ( Central Act XIV of 1947) the Government hereby direct that the said industrial dispute be referred for adjudication to the Labour Court , Kollam . The Labour Court will pass the award within a period of three months .

Whether the denial of employment of Shri V. T. Manuel , Salesman , Carmel Book Stall , Cotton Hill by the manage- ment is justifiable ? If not, what the reliefs he isis entitled to ? are

Whereas , the Government are of opinion that an industrial dispute exists between The Managing Director (Manager) , Kerala State Poultry Development Corporation, Kudappana kunnu , Thiruvananthapuram and the workmen of the above referred establishment Smt . M. Girijamma , Varuvila Kadayil Veed , Irapuzhy , Kudappanakunnu P. O. , Thiruvananthapuram in respect of matters mentioned in the annexure to this order ;
And whereas , in the opinion of Government it is necessary to refer the said industrial dispute for adjudication ;
Now, therefore , in exercis of the powers conferred by section 10 ( 1 ) ( c) of the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947 ( Central Act XIV of 1947) the Government hereby direct that the said industrial dispute be referred for adjudication to the Labour Court, Kollam . The Labour Court will pass the award within a period of three months .

workman, Shri Abdul Salam , Kollam Dairy over the issue of the dismissal of the latter . The above dispute was referred for adjudication to the Labour Court, Kollam by Government per the Government Order read as Second paper above on the basis of the recommendation of the Labour Commissioner , Thiruvananthapuram vide letter read as first paper above . as
Whether the termination of service of Smt . M. Girijamma , Labourer by the management of Kerala State Poultry Development Corporation is justifiable ? If not, what are the reliefs she is entitled to ?

2. Now Shri Abdul Salam , Shruthi , Padanayar Kulangara North , Karunagappally vide his letter read as third paper above has intimated that his designation was wrongly given as "Higher Grade Lab Assistant " instead of his correct designation "Lab Technician (Higher Grade ) " .
Read. 1. Letter No. 1 (3) 602/08 dated 3-3-2008 from the Labour Commissioner, Thiruvananthapuram.
2. G. O. (Rt. ) No. 968 /2008 / LBR dated 16-4-2008 .
3. Government have examined the matter in detail and ordered to correct the designation of Shri Abdul Salam as " Lab Technician (Higher Grade) ".. The Government Order read as second. paper above stands modified to the above extent .
