The following are the Register Numbers of candidates who are found provisionally eligible to be called for the PhysicalEfficiency Test for selection to the post of Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion) K. A. P. - 3 , Kollam on Rs . 3050-5230 (Pre- Revised) in the Police Department (Category No. 101/2005 ) notified in the gazette dated 28-6-2005 based on the OMR Test held on 4-3-2006 . The Register Numbers are arranged in their numerical sequence and the arrangement does not in any way indicate their respective rank on the basis of the said test . The candidates belonging to other Backward Classes included in the Short List, who are required to produce Non- CreamyLayerCertificate as per GO . (P) No. 36/2000 /SC/ ST DD dated 27-5-2000 shall produce the same at the time of Physical EfficiencyTest . Such candidates in the Main List who failto produce the required Non - Creamy Layer Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of community reservation and will beconsidered as Open Competition candidates . As regards such candidates in the Supplementary Lists of other Backward Classes, theirregister numbers will be deleted from the Short Listwithout further notice , if they fail to produce the Non- Creamy Layer Certificate .
The date, time and place of Physical Efficiency Test willbe intimated in due course.
Re-checking of answer scripts will not be allowed beforepublishing the Ranked List .

Accordingto the existing procedure , revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. The answer scripts willbe rechecked, ifthe prescribed fee of Rs . 10 (Rupees Ten only) isremitted in any one of the Treasuries in the Stateby chalan under the head of account " 0051 PSC- 105 State PSC-99 Examination Fee " . The original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee should be produced with the application for rechecking. Candidates whose Register Numbers are included in the Short List willbe allowed a period of one month's timeto apply for rechecking with effect from the dateof publication of either the Short List or Ranked List. Thecandidates can avail only one chance either after the publication of the Short List or after the publication of Ranked List. But the candidates whose Register Numbers are not included in the Short List should submit the application for rechecking within one month from the date of publication of the Short List . Note:-(1) Inclusion of the Register Numbers in this list is purely provisional subject to scrutiny and admission of applications on absolute basis . Inclusion in the Short List does not confer any right on the candidate to be called for interview or for subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List,
(2) The Short List is prepared based on the details furnished by the candidate in the application and subsequent claims made will not be entertained at any stage.
Accordingto the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. But answer scripts will be rechecked, to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no mistake in totaling of marks to the varios answers, ifthe prescribed fee of Rs . 10 (Rupees Ten only) is remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State by chalan under the headofaccount " 0051 PSC- 105 State PSC- 99 Examination Fee" . The original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee should beproduced with the application for rechecking . Candidates whoseRegister Numbers are included in the Short Listwillbe allowed a period of one month's time to apply for rechecking with effect from the date of publication of either the Short Listor Ranked List. The candidates can avail only one chance either after the publication ofShort List or after the publication of Ranked List. But the candidates whose Register Numbers arenot included in the Short List should submit the application for rechecking within one month from the date of publication of the Short List . They are not entitled to a chance for rechecking after the publication of the Ranked List . Valid applications for rechecking addressed to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Kannur-2 should reach this office within 30 days from the date on which thisnotification is officially released by the Kerala Public Service Commission. Applications for rechecking received afterthe prescribed time limit will not be entertained.
Applications for rechecking received from candidates whose answer scripts have been invalidated will not be considered. Candidates whose Register Numbers are not included in the Short List are advised to refer to Notification No. ER II/LPSA/45 / 06/EWdated 2-3-2006 of the Secretary, KPSC, Tvpm. for the Register Numbers of invalidated answer scripts and the reason thereof.
The fee once remitted will not be refunded.
(3) Candidates whose Register Numbers are included inthe Short List are directed to send self- attested copies ofdocuments to prove their claims made in the application i.e. , Qualification , Date ofBirth, Community and Other benefits if any towhich they areentitled, to the District Officer , K. P.S. C. District Office, Kannur- 2 within 15 days from the date of publication of this notification . The register numbers ofthose candidates who do not produce the requireddocuments within the prescribedtime limit and whose applications are found otherwise defective will be deleted from the Short List without further notice.
In the case of candidates who send applications for rechecking within the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above , the marks awarded willbe rechecked and the result of the rechecking willbe intimatedto the candidates from this office.
The candidates who have secured 43 ( Fourty three ) marks and above are included in the Main List of this Short List . The cut off marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of the candidates included in the Supplementary Lists.
