പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ കൃഷി ഓഫീസർ കോഴിക്കോട്, വേങ്ങേരി സ്റ്റേറ്റ് അംഗ്മാർക്ക് ഗ്രേഡിംഗ് ലബോറട്ടറിയിലേക്ക് താഴെ പറയുന്ന ഉപകരണം ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിന് 17-3-2009 വൈകുന്നേരം 2 മണിക്ക് മുമ്പായി കിട്ടത്തക്കവണ്ണം സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും മത്സര സ്വഭാവമുള്ള സീൽ ചെയ്ത ദർഘാസുകൾ ക്ഷണിച്ചു കൊള്ളുന്നു. ദർഘാസ് കവറിന്റെ പുറത്ത് ദർഘാസ് നമ്പരും "അൾട്രാവയലറ്റ് വിസിബിൾ സ്പെക്ട്രോ ഫോട്ടോ മീറ്റർ" (Single Beam) സπൈ ചെയ്യുന്നതിനുള്ള ടെ≠ർ എന്നും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കണം. ഇപ്രകാരം ലഭിച്ച ദർഘാസുകൾ അന്നേ ദിവസം വൈകുന്നേരം 3 മണിക്ക് ഹാജരുള്ള കരാറു കാരുടെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ തുറക്കുന്നതായിരിക്കും. പ്രസ്തുത ദിവസം ഏതെങ്കിലും കാരണവശാൽ അവധി ദിവസം ആകുന്ന പക്ഷം അടുത്ത പ്രവൃത്തി ദിവസം ദർഘാസുകൾ തുറക്കുന്ന തായിരിക്കും.

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Survey Stones of the specifications and quantity described below to Vaikom Taluk.

The tenders should be superscribed as "Tender for the supply of Survey Stones in Vaikom Taluk" and addressed to the Assistant Director of Survey and Land Records (Re-survey), Kottayam, so as to reach him before 3 p. m. on 18-3-2009. Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders will be opened at 4 p. m. on the same date in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorised representatives who may be present at that time.

The stones are to be supplied within one month from the date of intends and at the places which will be mentioned in the intends.

The persons submitting tenders should produce a solvency certificate on a stamp paper worth Rs. 50 obtained from the Tahsildar of the Taluk within a period of 6 months from the date of the tender clearly indicating details of the properties which should not be to an amount less than 10% of the estimated cost (subject to a minimum of Rs. 1,18,000) of the tender along with the tenders.

In the case of successful tenderers, they should pledge the properties to the value of 50% (Fifty percent only) of the total value shown in the solvency certificate with the Government till the expiry of the contract or they should pledge the Bank Draft/Bank Guarantee for the remittance of an amount of not less than 5% (five per cent) of the value of the contract. This is an addition to the security deposit of 5% (five percent) of the value of the contract to be given by the successful tenderer.

Intending tenderers may on application to the Assistant Director of Survey and Land Records (Re-survey), Kottayam obtain the requisite tender forms on which tender should be submitted.

Application for the tender forms should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 400 (Rupees four hundred only) with sales tax, is the price fixed for a set of22 forms and which is not refundable under any circumstances. Description of the Survey Stone—Hard Granite Stones of durable quality having dimensions of 60 ×15 ×15 cms.

All the Survey Stones must have a coconut tree markout in one centimetre deep on one of the later sides. The coconut tree mark shall have a total length of 12 cms. and a total width of 7 cms. and the top of the mark shall be 7 cms. below the top level of the stones. All stones must have a plummet hole 1 cm. deep on the top middle of the stone. Stones required for the traverse survey of block boundary, Khandom boundary etc. must have the appropriate symbols as per rules, which will be specified in the intend. All stones must be roughly squared to one third of their length from the top.

Each tenderer should remit a sum of Rs. 11,800 (Rupees Eleven thousand Eight hundred only) before 12 Noon on 18-3-2009, in this office towards the Earnest Money Deposit and the receipt issued from this office should be attached with the cover of tender. The tenders without receipt of the Earnest Money Deposit will not be considered. An agreement in the prescribed form in the stamp paper worth Rs. 50 (Rupees fifty only) should also be enclosed alongwith the tender.
