Shri Justice H. L. Dattu , Chief Justice , High Court of Kerala who has been elevated as Judge, Supreme Court of India as per Government of India Notification No. K. 13011 /3 / 2008- US . II (iii) dated 15th December , 2008 has relinquished charge as such on the forenoon of 16th December , 2008.

Shri Justice J. B. Koshy , Judge , High Court of Kerala who has been appointed to perform the duties of the Office of the Chief Justice of the High Court of Kerala as per Government of India Notifiction No. K. 11019/3 /2008-US.Il dated 16th December, 2008 , assumed charge as acting Chief Justice, High Court of Kerala on the forenoon of 16th December , 2008 .
