TENDER NOTICE
No. 2621 /B3 /2009/Sty .

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Kraft Paper to Stationery Department as per the details given below.
Tender No.-162/2008-09 .
Name of items -Kraft Paper ( RAI ) 75 Gsm 19.7 kg . per ream of 500 sheets
Conforming to IS : 1397/1967 .

Cost of tender form :
Original Rs . 1,125 .
Duplicate Rs . 563 .
Date of opening of tender-13-5-2009 .
Intending tenderers may on application to the Controller of Stationery, Kerala , Thiruvanantha- puram- 695 033 to obtain the requisite tender forms on which the tenders are to be submitted.
The sale of tender forms will be closed at 24 hours before the time fixed for the opening of the terder. Cost of tender forms will be accepted either in cash ( remittance in the office) or by Money Order only and should be sent to the Controller of Stationery, Thiruvananthapuram-695033 (Name of the Officer should not be mentioned) . Cheques , Postage Stamps and Demand Drafts will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms nor will the tender forms be sent by V. P. P. The cost of tender forms are not refundable under any circumstances . The tender number and the name of the item for which the tender form is required should be clearly specified in the application /M . O. Coupon . The tender forms are not transferable . The last date and time fixed for receipt of tender is 3 p . m . on the date fixed for opening of tender . If date of opening of tender happens to te a holiday it will be opened at 4 p . m . on the next working day.
The cover containing the tender shall be appropriately superscribedsuperscribed with the tender number and name of item and addressed to the Controller of Stationery, Thiruvananthapuram- 695 033. Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened in the presence of the tenderers or their authorised representatives who may be present at the time of opening of the tender .
Every tenderer shall send along with his tender an agreement executed on a Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 50 and furnish 1% of the total cost of the materials as Earnest Money Deposit . Earnest Money Deposit will be accepted in Cash/ Demand Draft/ FDR taken in favour of Controller of Stationery with due endorsement . Tender( without EMD will be rejected outright .
A specimen of Preliminary Agreement Deed is appended to the tender form. Tenders received without the Agreement Deed , Earnest Money Deposit and Samples will be rejected outright . Further details, if any, can be had from the office of the undersigned during the office hours .
Other things being equal , Preference will be given to goods bearing ISI Certification Mark and in the absence of Certification Marks , products conforming to IS specification . Where uncertified goods are supplied by of the seller with a claim of conformity to the relevant Indian Standards , it is his responsibility to produce a certificate of conformity from the Bureau of Indian Standards or any test house recognized by the B. I. S. Offers for articles with ISI mark should be accompanied by a duly attested copy of the latest valid licence issued by the BIS for manufacture of the articles with ISI mark.
