NOTIFICATION
G. O. (P) No. 101/09/ID. Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 18th August 2009.
S. R. O. NO. 807/2009.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (f) of Section 2 and sub-section (i) of Section 5 of the Kerala Industrial Single Window Clearance Boards and Industrial Township Area Development Act, 1999 (5 of 2000) the Government of Kerala hereby declare Technopark Area, Thiruvananthapuram District to be an Industrial Area in the State and constitute a Single Window Clearance Board for the said area to be known as the "Technopark Area Single Window Clearance Board" for the purpose of speedy issue of various licences or clearances or certificates required under the various State enactments for setting up of small scale industrial undertakings or industrial undertakings with the members mentioned in the Schedule, below, namely:—

1. Secretary to Government, Information Technology Department (as nominee of Principal Secretary to Government, Industries Department).
2. District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram.
3. Chief Executive Officer, Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram.
4. General Manager (Technical), Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram.
5. Senior Environmental Engineer, Kerala State Pollution Control Board, Thiruvananthapuram.
6. Electrical Inspector, District Office, Thiruvananthapuram.
7. District Town Planner, Thiruvananthapuram.
8. District Medical Officer (Health), Thiruvananthapuram.
210. Assistant Divisional Officer, Fire Force, Thiruvananthapuram.
11. Divisional Forest Officer, Thiruvananthapuram.
12. District Labour Officer, Thiruvananthapuram.
13. Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes Department, Thiruvananthapuram.
14. Executive Engineer, Public Health Division, Kerala Water Authority, Thiruvananthapuram.
15. Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, Kerala State Electricity Board, Thiruvananthapuram (Urban).
Under sub-section (4) of Section 5 of the said Act, the Government of Kerala hereby appoint the Secretary to Government, Information Technology Department, to be the Chairman of the Board and the General Manager (Technical), Technopark to be its Convener.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
As per clause (f) of Section 2 and sub-section (i) of Section 5 of the Kerala Industrial Single Window Clearance Boards and Industrial Township Area Development Act, 1999 (5 of 2000), Government may declare any area in the state to be an industrial area and constitute Single Window Clearance Board for the said area. Government have decided to declare the Technopark Area, Thiruvananthapuram to be an industrial area and constitute a Single Window Clearence Board for the said area.
This notification is intended to achieve the above object.
