It is hereby notified that Dr. K. Muraleedhara Varier,

Professor, Department of Physics, University of Calicut

and Dean, Faculty of Science is nominated as a member

Standing Committee of Academic Council replacing

Dr. M. Sivadasan, former Dean, Faculty of Science with

effect from 21-4-2009 as per provisions contained in

Statute 14, Chapter VII of Calicut University First Statute It is hereby notified that an amendment to all Statutes and Chapters of Calicut University First Statute 1977 for replacing the expressions 'he', 'his', 'him' and 'himself' with the words 'she/he', 'her/his', 'her/him', 'herself/himself' has been finally approved by the Senate held on 28-10-2008 and assented to by the Chancellor on 20th January 2009.

AMENDMENT
