5 ,, The tenderers should be superscribed " supply of Agricultural Machinery" and addressed to the Director of Agriculture, Thiruvananthapuram. Late tenders will not be accepted. The tender will be opened at 4 p. m. on 30th November 2009 in the presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the Director of Agriculture to obtain the requisite tender forms on which tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 7,500 + 12.5% K VAT which is the price fixed for a form/set of forms and which is not refundable under any circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable. Sale of tender forms will be closed at 1 p. m. on 30-11-2009. Cheques, Postage stamps etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of forms nor will the forms be sent per V. P. P. Duplicate tender forms if required will be issued at Rs. 3,800 + 12.5% K VAT per copy.

ദർഘാസുകൾ ഹാജരുള്ള വിതരണക്കാരുടെയോ അവർ രേഖാമൂലം അധികാരപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഏജന്റുമാരുടെയോ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ തുറക്കുന്നതാണ്. പ്രസ്തുത ദിവസം ഏതെങ്കിലും കാരണവശാൽ അവധി ദിവസമായിരുന്നാൽ അടുത്ത പ്രവർത്തി ദിവസം മുകളിൽ പറഞ്ഞ വ്യവസ്ഥയിലും സമയത്തും തുറക്കുന്നതാണ്. സ്റ്റോർ പർച്ചേസ് നിയമം അനുസരിച്ചുള്ള എല്ലാ നിബന്ധനകളും ഈ ദർഘാസിനും ബാധകമാണ്.

Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the supply of 20 items of Diagnostic Kits for Disease Diagnosis of Chief Disease Investigation Office, Palode, Thiruvananthapuram. Estimate Cost Rs. 7,00,000.

The tender should be superscribed "Tender No. 8/2009-10 supply of 20 items of Diagnostic Kits" and should be addressed to the Chief Disease Investiga- tion Officer, Palode, Pacha P. SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The offer should be for supply from ready stock in original packing of the manufacturer, and the tenderers should give the name of the manufacturer of the item.

2. Tenderers should submit a crossed demand draft for 1 % of the quoted amount drawn in favour of Chief Veterinary Officer, District Veterinary Centre, Pathanamthitta along with the tender as Earnest Money Deposit.

3. The rate quoted should be for the delivery at the destination, i.e., to the campus of District Veterinary Centre, Pathanamthitta. The rates should include all taxes, delivery, forwarding and installation charges.

4. Ex go-down rate and free on rail despatch at stations offered by firms are not acceptable, and such tenders will be rejected.

5. The firm who are not original manufacturers should produce the authorization certificate by the manufac- turer.

6. Sufficient brochures and technical write ups of the quoted item should be provided along with the tender.

7. A minimum of one year guarantee should be there for the tendered item.

8. Tenderers should submit a primary agreement in the Kerala stamp paper worth Rs. 50 along with the tender. In the absence of such agreement, tender will be rejected.

9. The manufacturer should have ISO certification or other valid accreditation.

10. Annual maintenance contract for 5 years should be there with the company.

11. Supply of the items should be effected within 10 days on receipt of supply order. No extension of time will be allowed.

12. A minimum of three demonstrations should be done by the firm's authorized technical hands after installation.

13. The Earnest money deposit furnished by the firms as demand draft will be released after satisfactory completion of contracts, and tenderers should collect the same from this office.

14. Payments will be made within 15 days from the date of acceptance of the item by the Chief Veterinary Officer, District Veterinary Centre, Pathanamthitta after satisfactory installation and demonstration of the item.

All Kerala Government orders and laws applicable to tenders are applicable to this tender also. Full details of the above items will be available along with tender forms. The validity of this tender will be for six months from the date of this tender notification.

ദർഘാസുകൾക്ക് മുകളിൽ "2009-10 വർഷത്തേക്ക് മാനന്തവാടി ഗവ. കോളേജിലേക്ക് കായിക ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്'' എന്ന് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കണം. പൂരിപ്പിച്ച ദർഘാസുകൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന അവസാന തീയതി 1-12-2009 ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് 3 മണിക്ക് മുൻപായി പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ, ഗവ. കോളേജ്, മാനന്തവാടി, നെല്ലൂർനാട് പി.ഒ. എന്ന വിലാസത്തിൽ ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കണം. വൈകി കിട്ടുന്നവ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതല്ല. 2-12-2009-ന് ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് 3 മണിക്ക് ദർഘാസുകൾ നൽകിയിട്ടുള്ളവരോ, അവർ അധികാര പ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെയോ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ ദർഘാസുകൾ തുറക്കുന്നതാണ്.

ദർഘാസ് ഫോറങ്ങളുടെ വിലയായി നി›യിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള 450 രൂപ ഓഫീസിൽ അടച്ച് ഫോറം കൈപ്പറ്റാവുന്നതാണ്. ഫോറം തപാലിൽ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവർ പോസ്റ്റേജ് ചാർജ് ഉൾപ്പെടെ 485 രൂപ മാനന്തവാടി ഗവ. കോളേജ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പാളിന്റെ വിലാസത്തിൽ മണിയോർഡർ അയയ്ക്കേ≠താണ്. ദർഘാസ് ഫോറങ്ങൾ കൈമാറ്റം ചെയ്യാൻ പാടുള്ളതല്ല. യാതൊരു കാരണവശാലും ഫോറത്തിന്റെ വില തിരികെ നൽകുന്നതല്ല. ദർഘാസ് ഫോറങ്ങളുടെ വിൽപ്പന 1-12-2009-ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 2.30-ന് അവസാനിക്കുന്നതാണ്. ഫോറത്തിന്റെ വിലയായി ചെക്ക്, പോസ്റ്റൽ ഓർഡർ മുതലായവ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നല്ല. ഫോറം വി. പി. പി. യായി ലഭിക്കുന്നതല്ല. വിലയുടെ ഒരു ശതമാനം തുക നിരതദ്രവ്യമായി അടയ്ക്കേ≠തും 50 രൂപ മുദ്രപത്രത്തിൽ പ്രാഥമിക എഗ്രിമെന്റ ് ഓരോ ടെ≠റിനുമൊപ്പം നൽകേ≠തുമാണ്. കാരണം കാണിക്കാതെ ടെ≠റുകൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതിനും നിരസിക്കുന്നതിനുമുള്ള അധികാരം പ്രിൻസിപ്പാളിൽ നിക്ഷിപ്തമാണ്.

അംഗീകരിക്കുന്ന ടെ≠റുകാരൻ വിലയുടെ 5% തുക സെക്യൂരിറ്റി ഡെപ്പോസിറ്റായി നൽകേ≠തും 50 രൂപ മുദ്രപത്രത്തിൽ എഗ്രിമെന്റ ് സമർപ്പിക്കേ≠തുമാണ്. പ്രാദേശികമായി കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കപ്പെട്ട സാധനങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരി ക്കുന്നതല്ല. സാധനങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം, വില, ബ്രാന്റ ് നെയിം എന്നിവ വ്യ‡മായി കാണിച്ചിരിക്കണം. ടെ≠റിൽ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ കോളേജിൽ എത്തിച്ച് സ്ഥാപിച്ച് പ്രവർത്തന സ÷മാക്കേ≠തും അതിനുള്ള തുക കൂടി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ വിലയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതു മായിരിക്കും. ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട അധികാരികൾ പരിശോധിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം മാത്രമേ വിതരണം ചെയ്ത സാധനങ്ങളുടെ വില നൽകുകയുള്ളു.

Sealed tenders are invited for the framing of Photographs to Government Brennen College, Thalassery for a total amount of Rs. 32,000 (Rupees thirty two thousand only).

The tenders should be superscribed as "Tender No. 11/2009-10/NAAC/Plan for the framing of Photographs" and addressed to "The Principal, Government Brennen College, Dharmadam, Thalassery-6." Sale of tender form will be closed on 3-12-2009 at 2.30 p.m. The last date for receipt of tender is 4-12-2009 at 2 p. m. Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders will be opened on 4-12-2009 at 3 p.m. in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time.

Intending tenderers may on application to "The Principal, Government Brennen College, Dharmadam, Thalassery-6" obtain the requisite tender form on which tenders should be submitted. The cost of the tender form is Rs. 169 (Rs. 150+19 Tax). Application form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs. 169 at the Office or by money order which is the price is fixed for a form and it is not refundable under any circumstances. Cheques, Postage Stamps, Postal Order, Demand Drafts etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms. Forms will not be sent by V.P.P. Tender forms are not transferable. Every tender should be accompanied by an Earnest Money Deposit @ 1% of the total cost of the An agreement executed and signed in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 is to be submitted along with the tender. Kerala Stamp Paper will be supplied to the tenderers outside the State in case they required for the same and remit by Money Order an additional amount of Rs. 70 (Rs. 50 for stamp paper and Rs. 20 for incidental expenses). Cheques, Bank Draft, etc. will not be accepted towards the cost of tender forms. It will be sent to the firms by registered post. If payment is made by money order. inclusive of postal charges of Rs. 25 (Rupees twenty five only) for each form. The last date of receipt of tender is at 4 p. m. on 2-12-2009 and the tender will be opened at 4.30 p. m. on the same day in the presence of the tenderers, who are present at the time of opening.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

(A) Specification of Rope:

(1) The rope shall have a minimum tensile strength of 1500 kg. breaking strengh.

(2) Linear density of rope should be above 35gms/m

(3) Abrasion resistance should be 1400kg. at the end of 1000 cycles.

(4) Thermal stability shall be 1400kg. strength retained after 3hrs exposure at 45 degree centigrade.

(5) UV resistance should be 1400kg. (strength retained after 500 hours of UV exposure)

(B) Specification of Net

(1) Tensile strength should be 9500kg/m

(2) Punching shear should be 5000kg.

(C) Specification of braid string:

(1) Braid string to be used for tying gabion lid shall be tested for 90kg. breaking strength.

(2) The firm period of tender will be 4 (four) months from the fixed last date of receipt of tender.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

1. The suppliers should produce previous experience certificate of supplying Polymer rope Gabion boxes to Government or Semi Government firms. The manufacturers should have a track record of minimum three years in the field of manufacturing Polymer Gabion Boxes. The manufacturers/suppliers should have successfully completed the supply within the specified time. In the case of suppliers they have to produce authorised certification from the Govt./Semi Govt. agencies so as to meet the above condition.

2. The tender schedule will be issued from the office of the Superintending Engineer, Irrigation North Circle, Kozhikode up to 1 p. m. on 24-11-2009 at the cost and VAT of tender schedule. The tender schedule will be issued to the contractors satisfying the special condition (1) The Superintending Engineer, Irrigation North Circle, Kozhikode reserves the right to issue tender schedule based on genuinetly. The decision of the Superintending Engineer is final in the matter of disputes.

3. The tenderer shall also enclose prescribed EMD by way of Demand Draft in favour of Superintending Engineer, Irrigation North Circle, Kozhikode and payable at Kozhikode.

4. The supplier shall execute a preliminary agreement in Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 in the format supplied and submit along with tender.

5. The selected supplier shall execute an agreement in Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 after submitting a Security Deposit for an amount of 5% of the quoted amount of the supply.

6. The filled tender should be submitted through registered/speed post of Postal Department. The tender through courier service will not be accepted.

7. The suppliers should produce test certificates of the Gabion boxes from the approved standard agency, probably IIT during the course of supply.

8. The selected supplier should produce the sample along with test certificate and the Department have the right to test the material if necessary with any other agency at Contractors cost for approval.

9. Every 1000 Nos. of rope Gabion shall deemed to be a lot. A representative Gabion shall be selected from the lot by the Department for testing at the cost of the contractor and the result should be collected from the approved agency and submitted to department within seven days.

10. Random checking by weight will be done by the department for each lot of Gabion boxes.

11. The contractor shall bear all kind of testing/certificate charges for testing of Gabion material.

12. The supplier shall produce certificate for the quality of material as specified by the department while supplying for every 1000 unit of supplying from the approved agency.

13. The supplier shall arrange technical demonstration for tying top lid, packing rubble etc. to the departmental officers at site.

14. The payment for the supply will be made as per prevailing Government rules and no extra conditions in this regard is acceptable to the department.

15. The material shall be supplied at the above mentioned sites at Malappuram and Kozhikode Districts as directed by the department.

16. The rate quoted shall be excluding all taxes of State Government. Tax at Government rate will be paid separately.

17. The supply shall be completed within 30 days from the date of purchase order. If the supply is not made with in 30 days a fine of 5% of the cost of supply order will be imposed flatly for delay. If the supply is delayed further the contract agreement will be terminated at the risk and cost of the supplier and the security deposit will be forfeited to the Government.

All prevailing conditions applicable to tenders in Irrigation and Public Works Departments are applicable to this tender also.

7. ഗാബിയോൺ പെട്ടികളുടെ ഗുണനിലവാരം സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിന്, നിലവാരമുള്ള എെ. എെ. ടി. മുതലായ അംഗീകൃത പരിശോധനാ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഗുണനിലവാര സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് ഗാബിയോൺ പെട്ടികളുടെ സπൈയോടൊപ്പം സമർപ്പിക്കേ≠താണ്.

8. തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട സπൈയേഴ്സ് സാമ്പിളും ഗുണനിലവാര സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റും സമർപ്പിക്കേ≠തും ഡിപ്പാർട്ടുമെന്റിന് ആവശ്യമെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നപക്ഷം സπൈയറുടെ സ്വന്തം ചെലവിൽ ഗുണനിലവാര പരിശോധന നടത്തേ≠തുമാണ്.

9. ഓരോ 1000 എണ്ണം റോപ്പ് ഗാബിയോൺ പെട്ടികളും ഒരു ലോട്ട് ആയി കണക്കാക്കുന്നതാണ്. അത്തരം ഓരോ ലോട്ടിൽ നിന്നും ഒന്നുവീതം ഗാബിയോൺ പെട്ടികൾ അംഗീകൃത ഏജൻസിയിൽ കോൺട്രാക്ടറുടെ ചെലവിൽ പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് കൊടുക്കേ≠തും പരിശോധനാഫലം ഏഴു ദിവസത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ഡിപ്പാർട്ടുമെന്റിന് സമർപ്പിക്കേ≠തുമാണ്.

10. ഓരോ ലോട്ടിൽ നിന്നും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ഗാബിയോൺ പെട്ടികൾ ഡിപ്പാർട്ടുമെന്റ ് ഭാര പരിശോധന നടത്തുന്നതാണ്.

11. ഗാബിയോൺ പെട്ടികളുടെ പരിശോധനയ്ക്കും സർട്ടിഫിക്കേഷനും വേ≠ുന്ന മുഴുവൻ ചെലവുകളും കരാറുകാർ വഹിക്കേ≠താണ്.

12. കരാറുകാർ, ഡിപ്പാർട്ടുമെന്റ ് ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്ന സ്പെസിഫിക്കേഷൻ പ്രകാരം അംഗീകൃത ഏജൻസികളിൽ നിന്ന് മെറ്റീരിയലിന്റെ ഗുണനിലവാര സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് ഓരോ 1000 എണ്ണത്തിനോടുമൊപ്പം സമർപ്പിക്കണം.

13. കല്ലുകൾ നിറയ്ക്കുന്നതിനും, മുകൾമൂടി കെട്ടി ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും മറ്റുമുള്ള ടെക്നിക്കൽ ഡെമോൺസ്ട്രേഷൻ ഡിപ്പാർട്ടുമെന്റൽ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർക്ക് സൈറ്റിൽ സπെയർ നൽകണം.
