The candidates who have secured 62 (Sixty two) marks and above are included in the Main List of this Short List. The requisite marks have been lowered to the extent necessary in respect of the Supplementary Lists.

Those candidates belonging to the group of Sub-castes of Fishermen Community as enumerated in Annexure 'B' and 'C' of the G. O. (P) No. 36/2000/ SC/ST/DD dated 27-5-2000 will have to produce Community Certificates which clearly indicate that they belong to the sub castes of Fishermen Community, when required.

The Ranked List for the Post of Last Grade Servants (Various Departments) on Rs. 2610-3680 (PR) (Category No. 56/2006) in Alappuzha District (No. 220/08/DOA) was published on 18-9-2008. The List II of the Ranked List consisting of candidates for being filled up against the 3% vacancies earmarked for PH candidates as per G. O. (P) No. 50/07/SWD dated 15-9-2007 was temporarily withheld. The following is the list of candidates who are found eligible to be included in List II on the basis of the Objective Type (OMR Valuation) Test held on 30-6-2007, arranged in the order of Register Numbers and in no way indicates respective rank on the basis of the marks secured in the examination. Alphabet 'A' should be prefixed to the Register Numbers in the list to denote Alappuzha District. Register Numbers of those candidates who are included in the existing ranked list and those who were found unsuitable in the suitability assessment held on 16-7-2008 and those who were absent for the suitability assessment held on 16-7-2008 have been excluded from this list.

The following are the Register Numbers of candidates who are provisionally considered for inclusion in the Ranked List for the post of Lower Division Clerk (Ex-Servicemen only) in NCC/Sainik Welfare Department (Category No. 228/2005), notified in the Gazette dated 31-12-2005 in Alappuzha District on the basis of the OMR Test held on 7-7-2007. Since the process of finalisation of the Ranked List is time bound, no time will be granted to any candidates in any circumstances to produce any documents in original or copies. Candidates included in the list will have to produce in person at their own expense, the original certificates and self attested copies to prove their Date of Birth, Community, Qualifications, Discharge Certificate, Pension Payment Order etc. as claimed in their application. The candidates belonging to SC/ST Communities shall produce Caste Certificate and two self attested copies of the same.

The candidates belonging to Other Backward Communities, shall produce Non-creamy Layer Certificate as per G.O. (P) No. 117/2008/SC/ST/DD dated 19-12-2008 to claim their benefits. Such candidates in the Main List who fail to produce the required Non-creamy Layer Certificate or Caste Certificate will not be entitled to the benefits of community reservation and will be treated as open candidates.

The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 30-3-2009. The Ranked List will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidate will be advised for appointment in accordence with the rules and orders regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to the Commission during the pendency of this list. As the advise for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies, there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all for appointment on the basis of the inclusion of their names in the list.

According to the existing procedure, re-valuation of answer script is not allowed. But answer script will be rechecked only after the publication of Ranked List, if prescribed fee of Rs. 50 (Rupees Fifty only) is remitted in any one of the Treasuries in the State by chalan under the Head of Account "0051 PSC-105 State PSC-99- Examination fee". Application for re-checking of the answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from the enquiry sections of the various offices of the Commission or down-loaded and printed in A4 size paper from the Commission's website: www.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from. The original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee should be produced with the application for re-checking.

Valid applications for re-checking addressed to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Alappuzha-688 001 should reach this office within 30 days from the date on which this notification of Ranked List is officially released766 KERALA GAZETTE [PART I B by the Commission. Application for re-checking received after the prescribed time limit or not in the prescribed form will not be entertained. Applications for re-checking received from candidates whose answer scripts have been invalidated will not be considered. The fee once remitted will not be refunded.

In the case of candidates who send applications for re-checking in the prescribed form within the prescribed time limit enclosng original chalan receipt as stated above the marks awarded will be re-checked and the result of the re-checking will be intimated to the candidates from this office.

Entries are based on the Communities specified by the candidates in their application forms and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose Communities have not been correctly noted in the list as proved by them in their application should intimate the fact to the District Officer, KPSC District Office, Alappuzha within one month from the date of publication of this list to get the benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies if any, the candidates will be advised as incorporated in the list.
