SPECIAL CONDITIONS

1. All offers should be from the manufacturers of the items quoted or from their authorized representatives and with original specifications, make, models etc.

2. All successful tenderers should complete all the supplies within the stipulated time as mentioned in the supply order. No extension of time will be granted beyond this under any circumstances.

3. The leaflets, illustrated catalogue if any of the equipment/instrument quoted shall be sent along with the tender.

4. Equipments supplied should have a minimum warranty period of 3 years.

5. The prices quoted should be inclusive of all taxes, duties, cesses etc.

6. The rates quoted should be as a single unit in Indian Currency and payment will be made in Indian currency only.

7. Offers of conditional supply to the department will not be considered.

8. The rates should be for delivery at the District Veterinary Centre, Thiruvananthapuram.

9. Ex-Godown rates and F. O. R. Station of Despatch rates offered by the firms are not accepted and such tenders will be summarily rejected.

10. On finalising the tender, supply orders will be placed only after ascertaining the compatibility of the instrument with the existing ultrasound scanner.

11. Payment will be effected only after ascertaining the quality and working condition and successful trail run of the items supplied, subject to the availability of funds and priority of supplies.

12. The security deposit furnished by the firms will be released only after the satisfactory completion of the warranty period.

13. The only jurisdiction for any disputes regarding this purchase will be at Thiruvananthapuram.

14. All the documents produced by the tenderers should be attested by a Gazetted Officer.

15. The Chief Veterinary Officer reserves all rights to delete any item from the tender without assigning any reason thereof.

16. The Chief Veterinary Officer reserves all rights to waive any of the above mentioned special conditions.

17. If the date scheduled for opening of tender is declared as holiday, tenders will be opened on the next working day at the same time.

കേരള സർക്കാർ ദർഘാസുകൾക്ക് ബാധകമാകുന്ന എല്ലാ നിയമങ്ങളും ഈ ദർഘാസിനും ബാധകമായിരിക്കും. ഉപകരണത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച എല്ലാ വിവരങ്ങളും ദർഘാസ് ഫോറത്തിനൊപ്പം ലഭ്യമാണ്. ഈ ദർഘാസിന്റെ കാലാവധി ഈ ദർഘാസ് പരസ്യപ്പെടുത്തിയതു മുതൽ ആറു മാസത്തേക്കായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്.

SPECIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The offer should be for supply from ready stock in original packing of the manufacturer and the tenderers should give the name of the manufacturer of the item.

2. Tenderers should submit a crossed demand draft for 1 % of the quoted amount drawn in favour of Chief Veterinary Officer, District Veterinary Centre, Alappuzha along with the tender as Earnest Money Deposit.

3. The rate quoted should be for the delivery at the destination, i.e. to the Campus of District Veterinary Centre, Alappuzha. The rates should include all taxes, delivery, forwarding and installation charges.

4. Ex go-down rate and free on rail despatch at stations offered by firms are not acceptable and such tenders will be rejected.

5. The firm who are not original manufacturers should produce the authorisation certificate by the manufacturer.

6. Sufficient brochures and technical write ups of the quoted item should be provided along with the tender.

7. A minimum of one year guarantee should be there for the tendered item.

8. Tenderers should submit a preliminary agreement in the Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 along with the tender. In the absence of such agreement, tender will be rejected.

9. The manufacturer should have ISO Certification or other valid accreditation.

10. Annual Maintenance Contract for 5 years should be there with the company.

11. Supply of the items should be effected within 10 days on receipt of supply order. No extension of time will be allowed.

12. A minimum of three demonstrations should be done by the firm's authorised technical hands after installation.

13. The Earnest Money Deposit furnished by the firms as demand draft will be released after satisfactory completion of contracts and tenderers should collect the same from this office.

14. Payments will be made within 15 days from the date of acceptance of the item by the Chief Veterinary Officer, District Veterinary Centre, Alappuzha after satisfactory installation and demonstration of the item.

mark shall have a total length of 12 c. m. and a total width of 7 c. m. below 7 c.m. from the top level of the stones. All stones must be roughly squared to one third of their length from the top. The Survey stones, which are required for the Block Boundary, Khandam Boundary, Trijunction points, Town survey points etc., must have the appropriate symbols as per rules which will be specified in the indents.

Approximate number of survey stones required—

60,000 (Sixty thousand).

The tenders should be supercribed as "Tender for the supply of Survey Stones for the re-survey of Pathanamthitta District" and addressed to the Assistant Director of Survey and Land Records (Range), Pathanamthitta so as to reach him before 2 p. m. on 10-12-2009. Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened at 3 p. m. on the same date in the presence of such of the tenders or their authorized representatives who are present at the time.

The stones are to be supplied with in one month from the date of indent and at the places in Pathanamthitta District which will be mentioned in the indents.

The persons submitting tenders should produce a Solvency Certificate on Stamp paper worth Rs. 50 obtained from the Tahsildar of the taluk with in a period of six months from the date of submitting tender clearly indicating the details of properties which should not be to an amount less than 10% of the Estimated Cost (subjected to a minimum of Rs. 2,00,000) of the tender along with their tenders.

In the case of successful tender they should pledge the properties to the value of 50% of the total value shown in the solvency certificate with Government till the expiry of the contract or they should pledge the Bank Draft/Bank Guarantee for the remittance of an amount not less than 5% of the value of the contract with the Department of Survey and Land Records TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of Survey Stones with the specifications and quantity described below :—

Description of the Survey Stones.—Hard Granite Stones of durable quality having dimensions 60x15x15 c.m. Each Survey Stone must have a coconut tree mark one centimeter deep on one of the lateral sides. The coconut Government till expiry of contract. This is in addition to the security deposit of 5 % of the value of the contract.

Intending tenderers may, on application to the Assistant Director of Survey and Land Records (Range), Pathanamthitta obtain the requisite tender forms in which tenders should be submitted.

Application for the tender form should be accompained by a cash remittance of Rs. 1,000 with the sale tax of 12.5% which is the price fixed for a form and which is not refundable under any circumstances. The21 tender forms are not transferable. The cost of tender forms are accepted only on cash remittance. Cheque, Postal Orders, Stamps such are not accepted. Forms will not be sent by V.P.P. Duplicate copy of tender forms are available at the cost of Rs. 500 and sale taxes. Sale of tender forms will be closed at 1. p. m.

Each tenderer should deposit Rs. 20,000 (Rupees Twenty thousand only) towards the Earnest Money and the receipt to be attached with the tender. The Earnest Money Deposit may be remitted in this office before 1 p. m. on 10-12-2009 or either in the form of a Crossed Bank Draft or Treasury Saving Bank deposit.

An agreement in the prescribed form on Stamp Paper worth Rs. 50 duly executed should be enclosed with the tender. Tenders received without the Earnest Money Deposit and the agreement will not be considered.

As per tender condition the tenderer should send along with his tender an agreement executed and signed in Kerala Stamp Paper of value Rs. 50 and an EMD of 1% of the total cost of the articles tendered. Tenders without agreement and EMD will be rejected.

This specification covers the design, supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of computer network (wired + wireless) at 3 buildings. The whole computer networking systems, hereafter referred to as the network system, shall operate in conjunction with the existing wifi of the main block, LAN of CCF and leased circuit. The network system and all associated equipment and components shall be manufactured in accordance various compilance, safety and security standards (for active components Cisoco/Nortel).

The manufacturer shall be ISO 9001:2000 certified and shall have a minimum of 25 years experience in the design, manufacture, and testing of network systems. The supply delivery, installation, commissioning and after sales service also shall be done by an ISO 9001 : 2000 certified company.

The document shall be updated regularly as the installation progresses. All changes in the installation layout, wiring, cabling and design shall be incorporated in its final edition. One copy of this final edition shall behanded over to end-user upon commissioning of the system.

The final edition of the hand-over documents shall over design, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance aspects of the system.

5. Warranty

The warranty for the network system, accessories are of 3 years from the date of successful installation and its acceptance. If the default warranty period is less than 3 years, then the tenderer shall add/show the amount required for additional warranty.

The tenders should be superscribed as Tender No. P1/6/2009-10 due on 8-12-2009 at 3 p. m. and addressed to the undersigned to reach him before 8-12-2009 at 3 p. m. Late tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened at 11 a m. on 9-12-2009 in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time.

6. Maintenance

The tenderer shall be responsible for the maintenance of the system after the expiry of the warranty period.

The tenderer shall submit a check list on the activities to be carried out for the system regular maintenance.

The tenderer shall provide evidence and undertake that round the clockon-call service is available to attend to system failure.
