Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of stores required in Machines Lab of E.E. Department ofGovernment Engineering College , Painavu , Idukki . The envelope containing the tenders superscribed with the Number, Name of tender and due date for the tender must be addressed to The Principal , Government Engineering College , Painavu, Idukki .

Cost of the tender form is Rs . 400 ST. and Rs . 200+ ST . by cash for original and duplicate respectively (Rs . 450 and Rs . 250 by post) . Belated tenders will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened in the presence of such tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present at that time . Cheques/ Drafts / Postal Orders are not acceptable . The tender forms which are not accompanied by the agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth Rs . 50 and an Earnest Money Deposit of 1 % of the total cost of the items offered will be rejected. Outside firms , who desire to be supplied with Kerala Stamp Paper should send an additional amount of Rs. 50 along with cost of tender form . The tender forms can be obtained from the undersigned upto 3 p.m. on 21-12-2009 by cash and by Money Order upto 3 p.m. on 15-12-2009 .

Application for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of Rs . 400+ 12.5 % VAT which is fixed for a form and which is not refundable under any circumstances . Duplicate tender form will be available for cost of Rs . 200 ( + VAT) + 50 (Tapal Charges) . The tender forms are not transferable . Sale will be closed on 28-12-2009 at 2p.m. Cheques , Postal Order etc, will not be accepted towards the cost of form. The form will not be sent by V.P.P.
